I love the idea of "avoidance" if at all possible. Also, the idea of striking and taking off if at all possible. Being aware of your surroundings at all times is critical and people often put themselves in bad situations. You can often avoid trouble by not putting yourself in places where trouble happens and at peak times when trouble happens.

Unless some of your guests drive to your studio, it’s difficult to transport firearms and other weapons by commercial aircraft. Sadly that makes “show and tell” difficult. Maybe you can do a zoom call with quests and have them lay out their EDC? Or maybe a pocket dump of what they are carrying at the time of interview? I very much enjoy the podcast and love the interviews with all sorts of great guests. Keep it up! Great work!

You are absolutely correct. Self defense systems and fighting systems made for 1-1 combat in the octagon are totally different things. The arts I practice regularly are Karate, BJJ and Judo. It still somewhat surprises me how many people discuss their EDC kits, mention the medical aspect of it; and 8/10 times it is only in their vehicle or a specific part of the household. (It should be in multiple - all of the above actually) But the biggest factor i am pointing out is Tourniquet placement, possibly gauze and a few small items as well; but mainly Tourniquets. What happens if you or someone near you gets wounded but you aren’t able to get to your vehicle? Or that section of the house? The main thought running through your head in that situation (which can very easily happen IE: Car accident, House Fire, Multiple attackers, Etc) will be the fact that you should’ve *atleast* had 1 Tourniquet on your body-kit no matter the day. I often hear “those are bulky and i already carry enough on me” but yet i have pouches, holsters, and even belt straps that can clip a Tourniquet to my body and i won’t even notice it’s there… so yeah, keep making excuses! Just know that the medical gear in your car or another section of the house *will not* save you or someone else when shit hits the fan. It usually comes into play after the situation unfolds and fails to be executed as emergency-aid, but yet people describe it as such. Be prepared, or be sorry. ⚡️

That P365 X-Macro with the 17 rnd mag is an impressive loadout. Hoping that mag holds up, given the capacity.
@berryreading480911 ай бұрын
The P365/P365XL 10's, 12's, and 15's have a great track record... I think companies already made those milled style +2 extensions for the 15rd mags before the macro came out if I'm not mistaken... My factory 12 and 15rd mags have been flawless... Although for the price of two glock branded 33rd big sticks each they better be 😂 Only issue I've had is buying one during the bad run of tritium SIG recieved for their front sights a few years ago, but it only took a phone call to get a new one... The other option was sending in the entire slide via snail mail for factory repair 😒 100% reliability with an average "enthusiast" round count, but I did wait until they had the initial teething issues fixed... Exactly why I didn't run out and buy the poor man's POF Revolution AKA the Ruger SFAR 😂 maybe sometime in 2024 that'll be good to go 🤞😉 I'm also excited that SIG released a P365XL weapon light that has better output (mainly in candela) than the streamlight TLR-7sub or surefire XSC, although I wish they would've used any standard activation system (like they smartly used on their x-macro specific light with even better output numbers) instead of the stupid grip sense BS... I can't wait until that activation design completely dissappears from the market! I'm almost tempted to trt grafting the macro light on to my XL 🙄 Rant over 😂👍
