I think it's awesome that you're sharing Nightwish and other bands with individuals in the music industry. I don't see this from any other reactor, so what you're doing is very special and extremely uplifting. I particularly love the Nightwish introductions, as they are the creme de la creme, icing on the cake, musical geniuses, and performing experts. My only one request would be, if you could make the Nightwish introductions a double feature for your guests. I only suggest this, because Nightwish really needs a couple songs of introduction due to popular demand. Thanks again for all that you do with your channel, it's really fantastic.

Hello again, Joel and Glenn. This is one of many of my Nightwish favorite live performances. Every member of the band was rocking Wembley (actually for the entire concert). I loved Troy killing it on the low whistle and then on the guitar with his ebow. Tuomas on keyboards, both delicate and hard as his composition called for. Thank you both for this terrific reaction and thank you Joel for continuing to introduce people from your industry to our beloved Nightwish with Floor. Loved it.

OH MY! Steely Dan has always been in my favourite top 10 bands, especially that time when Michael McDonald still was in. One of the best conserts ever I saw in Helsinki year 2000. This memorable 2 set+ encore consert was shared with my 15 musician friends in our private box together with great single malt whiskey. I was the only female.

I just love Floor to bits and whenever Emppu smiles, it warms my heart. But dang it, this is one song and possibly the only one, I wish she didn’t add those notes at the end. One of the most impressive things about Nemo, imho, is that huge finish with the orchestra. It helps add depth to the song. I like your friend, he’s nice. I’ve been to quite a few of those band’s concerts, but then again I’m pretty old. I lived through the best era of music. I despaired for anything great to ever move me again until I found Nightwish, and now these Japanese bands are fantastic as well. Technically they’re not recent groups, but they’re new to me.

I also love "Nemo". Nightwish' biggest hit song. What a resume Glenn has. Is there any artist he has not worked with? So wonderful how you are sharing the amazing music and artistry of Nightwish with so many industry people. So interesting how insulated the industry is? The music genres do not mix and many people have never heard of or run into NIghtwish even though they have been touring for almost 25 years. Mostly in Europe, but also South America, & the States. Thank you for spreading the word. This is one of the NWA's biggest missions. We want to see this amazingly talented band receive more recognition, which hopefully enables them to book larger venues in the States.

This is actually one of Nightwish's most radio friendly tunes, if not the most. However, not even close to being one of their their best songs. On another note, I am not sure if you have done so yet but you should react to Epica - Consign to Oblivion live in Paris. If you want to see a great show, this is probably my favorite performance of a single individual song I have seen and I have seen many since the early 1980's.

That is a very impressive list of bands/acts he worked with, dang! And yes, sometimes it is better (safer) to introduce people to NW using a song you know, "Stargazers" is a great song but it is faaar from entry level NW hehehe. And Nemo? always a good pick i think, i personally think that the best introduction songs to NW are "Story time", "Romanticide", "Nemo", ofc "Ghost Love Score", "I want my tears back", and maybe "Last ride of the day" (i'd love to add "Greatest show on earth" too but i feel that is a song for more experienced NW listeners, or at least not a 1st song, it's too big for a first time thing). Keep em coming Joel, i really enjoy this format you created, and the way you spread and share new (to you) bands and singers you've fell in love with, with your friends. :D

OK WAIT, but who the heck would be upset by Nemo?! Or ANY NIGHTWISH LIVE?! Come on, u cannot go wrong with ANY LIVE PERFORMANCE they do, even if u don’t care for the songs themselves u still have these live performances that are a journey from start to finish, and yes it’s always incredible in my humble opinion!! :) OH and PS I LOVE how ur bringing so many friends to check out Nightwish, it never gets old watching a new person become a fan!! :)

Your guest was right about radio friendly, as I believe Nemo was the most widespread popular song for NW. Not my favorite song, but still ll a great song.

I love this song. I like the the Wacken 2013 version a lot better, but it is nice to see another performance of it. Something about it gets me all emotional in the second half of it. Floor's shout out to Empuu, the crowd surfing, Floor's vocals, the sign and how she ends it (some of these things from the Wacken version). It's very beautiful - as an experience - even if it is not regarded as one of their best songs, it definitely will always be up there for me. I don't know what it is. Maybe it also has to do with the flute. Such a great song!!

You still haven't seen the best version, which IMO is from "End Of An Era" DVD. The next best version is probably from Waxken 2013.

Love you taking your fellow roadies and friends on a road to somewhere else, in particular I'm following the Nightwish journey. But as we have a Steely Dan guy here, how familiar are the crew/the band with my favorite artist Tori Amos and her cover of Do it Again... its from a while back and there's a proper studio recording as well as some live versions if you wanna check it out. I'm just curious, and if you would consider Tori at all that be great! I'll keep on watching anyway tho

In my humble opinion: I think you should do a simple preface for each of your buddies about where each song fits within their style and repertoire. Not just Nightwish, all bands. He has no idea from this that they can do a Poet and the Pendulum, Ghost Love Score, Song of Myself, or Seven Days to the Wolves (have you even done that yet?)?? I would suggest prefacing Nemo, Amaranth and Storytime as Nightwish light……. Just give them some idea how each song relates to their bigger body of work.

When I see all this videos of people that are into and belong to metal bands, makes me super sad they do not have any idea of European bands or Japanese bands. Is really sad,what do they listen? Pop music and metal accepted by radio? Pop metal? I discover Nightwish in 2000, then Epica, leaves eyes, KAMELOT, within temptetion, then all the Japanese metal. All underground because pop people would not accept complex and long songs.
