Here is how I understand it. Justification and Sanctification are two separate things. You are justified by grace through faith in Jesus alone. Salvation is a sovereign act of God. God will send his spirit to indwell us. When that happens, we are then born again. Sanctification happens AFTER this. Regeneration of the mind and heart to be able to walk in faith. God bless.

Hello and thank you for your teaching. In general, you place being born again as something that takes place in the resurrection. However, there is some grammar to consider that this is not future, but present from the perspective of scripture. Can you tell me what I may have wrong below? John 3:8 presents people were already born of the Spirit based on the grammar “So IS everyone who IS born of the Spirit”. If this is was meant to be future only after the cross, Jesus would have said “So WILL BE everyone who WILL BE born of the Spirit”. 1 Peter 1:3 & 1:23 show being born again as something that has already taken place. Similar to John 3:8, there is no WILL BE but rather “have been”, which is past tense. If being born again is future only from the perspective of a person today and is exclusive to the resurrection, how can Jesus and Peter refer to being born again as something that is present and/or past?

1 Peter 1:23 says we're "born again." A few verses earlier it says something different: it says we are *"begotten"* of God: ⚫ "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead" "Born" and "begotten" in those two verses come from the same Greek word "annagenao" which means "again generated." KJV translators apparently did not understand the difference between begotten of the spirit and born of the spirit, so they left us another confusing, contradictory mess. Fortunately they got 1 John 5:18 correct, and that one verse includes both "born of God" and "begotten of God" _-and it llustrates the difference._ We'll get to that shortly. The video is correct about being born again or born of the spirit when we receive an immortal siritual body when resurrected at Jesus' return. In this mortal life we are *begotten* of God when we receive the holy spirit. Jesus described what it is like to be born of the spirit. You can not be born of the flesh and born of the spirit at the same time: ⚫ "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit." (John 3:6-8) *No one today who claims to be born again fits that description.* They can not move invisibly, like the wind. But Jesus could after His resurrection: He could move invisibly, appearing to His disciples and then disappearing. We will not be able to do that until Jesus' return, when we are born again or born of the spirit: resurrected with an immortal, spiritual body -like Jesus' resurrected body. Upon entering justification and receiving the holy spirit, we have been *begotten* of God (1 Peter 1:3). If we "endure to the end" - as Jesus said we must do (Matthew 10:22) - we will be born of God or born again: resurrected with an immortal, spiritual body at Jesus' return (John 3:1-8; 1 Cor 15:50-54; Phil 3:20,21; 1 Peter 1:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17) Only then will we be able to inherit and enter the Kingdom of God, as Jesus explained in John 3:3,5 and Paul explained in 1 Cor 15:50. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom: we must first receive an immortal, spiritual body: ⚫ "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory." (Paul, in 1 Corinthians 15:50-54) Paul described the death and future resurrection of those in Christ. Their natural, corrupt body would be “sown” into the earth - the grave - at death. At Jesus' return they would be resurrected with glorious, incorruptible spiritual bodies: ⚫ "So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body." (1 Corinthians 15:42-44) For now, we are "born of the flesh." We will be born again - "born of the spirit" - when we receive the promised immortal, spiritual body at Jesus' return. Then we will no longer sin. *Here's that verse from 1 John, mentioned earlier:* ⚫ "We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not." (1 John 5:18)

We must be born again to see the kingdom of God. We don’t yet see the kingdom because we are awaiting the resurrection or in other words we are awaiting our second birth. @rexjamerson93162 жыл бұрын
Another major misunderstood Bible topic. I agree with most of what he said and I skimmed the video pretty quickly. I believe one point he might have missed? In the original New Testament Greek, the phrase born again comes from "gennao anothen". A literal translation of This Means born from above. Some words are not precisely translatable from another language that is the case with this phrase. Gennao can mean born, but it also can mean begotten depending on context. When a husband fathers a child and the child is not born yet oh, you can say that the child is begotten, but not yet born. We are begotten from above but we are not yet born into a spirit body...that is we are not a spirit being yet like the angels. In Jesus explanation to Nicodemus, he explains being born again is like being the wind. You cannot see the wind and you cannot literally see what the wind might be doing. Yes, you can see the effects of the Wind, but you cannot see air! When you are a spirit being you can be invisible and perform things just like angels can. So, we were actually begotten (we received a downpayment of the Holy Spirit) from above ) but we will be born into the spirit family of God at the resurrection.

Here is the true meaning of being born again: In the beginning, God told Adam and Eve that in the day they eat of the forbidden tree, they shall surely die. This requires an understanding of what “death” actually means. It doesn’t mean physical death (which is just your spirit transferring to another place), but rather spiritual death, which is separation from God. God is the source of all life, so being separated from him means to be dead, spiritually. And the effects of this death are manifested by an existence full of pain, sorrow, work, and despair. And so, Adam and Eve DID die the exact moment they ate the forbidden fruit, and every human being born after has also experienced this first death. Now, in order for something dead to be brought back to life, it must be “reborn”, or in other words BORN AGAIN. Every soul will experience one of 2 different outcomes when Jesus returns: either you will be resurrected (reborn, born again) or be condemned to the 2nd death (permanent separation from God). THAT is what Jesus meant “you must be born again”. Because anybody who is NOT born again, must by definition also not be resurrected (brought back to life), meaning to be permanently dead for all eternity (suffering a life of unimaginable pain, absolute hopelessness, and never ending despair in the lake of fire).

Oh man, I really wrote this 2 years ago? Wow, I was WAY off. It's almost sickening to re-read what I said above, because my beliefs have changed DRASTICALLY since then, and I now see all the nuances in the way I was wrong and deceived. Old me had no clue what he was talking about. Well then, time for some self-refuting: 1. Death is NOT the transferring of your spirit to another place; that is a completely false conclusion based on redefining what the term "death" means. Because death, by definition, is the loss of a life. If the transference of a spirit is what was really meant, then another term would be used, such as "relocation" or "migration." A life of pain and suffering would be exactly that: a LIFE of pain and suffering, not a "living death," as that nonsensical oxymoron is a logically impossible contradiction in terms. 2. Indeed, God is the source of all life. And he is the God of the living, not the God of the dead. That is why when one is fully separated from God, they are completely dead. They do not exist at all. 3. The phrase "in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die" does not necessarily mean they died at the exact moment they consumed it. It just means that they are presently immortal, but if they do ever end up eating the fruit, THEN they would be demoted to a state of mortality, with an assurance of death sometime in their future. The moment Adam and Eve ate the fruit, the probability of them someday dying went from 0% to 100%. They did not "die" the moment they ate the fruit. The thing that DID happen was they "learned the difference between good and evil." Also, if the true meaning of "death" really was "separation from God," then how is it that immediately after eating the fruit, God came back and conversed with them detailing the new state of their existence? God appears to have still been very much with them for a state of existence called "separated from God." And he even remained to reprimand Cain for killing Abel, so he still wasn't completely gone even after exiling them from the garden. 4. "In order for something dead to be brought back to life, it must be reborn." This is what Lex's ENTIRE VIDEO is about proving, which he did very successfully if I would've just listened! My error was not comprehending the full extent of the physicality of the resurrection. It is ALL about being physically resurrected into a new physical body. Though the new one is called a "spiritual body," that just means it's a new type of physical body with extra spiritual features infused into it. It's NOTHING to do with "the spiritual state of one's soul." At least, not in terms of the meaning of "born again." Because being born again is something that is still yet to happen in the future. NOBODY has ever been truly "born again" except for Jesus, because he has already received his spiritual body. Born again is basically just a synonym for resurrection. Literally, "coming to life a 2nd time." 5. "Not being born again = being permanently dead for all eternity = an eternal life of suffering, hopelessness, and despair." Again, this is all WAY OFF. And not just off, but sickeningly corrupted, brainwashed, foolish, illogical, and Biblically illiterate. This is the saying of one who believes in eternal conscious torment and immortal soul theory, neither of which are supported by the Bible. As someone who now knows the TRUTH, that the Bible does, in fact, teach conditional immortality and soul sleep, I now not only understand everything about why you believe what you do, but also all the ways in which you are wrong, and the pieces which were missing in your understanding. Go listen to more UNLEARN, and UNLEARN all those lies you believe!

Most people have not been baptized by the Holy Spirit and therefore being born of the Spirit is difficult to understand. We are no longer of this world and that can be a lonely place and a heavy burden for we want everyone to know God and experience God's miracles. John 3:8 “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” Humbled for I am not worthy but God has said otherwise. God Bless each and everyone of you! 💖💖💖🙏🙏🙏 Persevere and keep believing without seeing for one day, you will see.

I find it interesting as I read long passages of opinions and beliefs. There are so many, even among those who claim the same doctrine and religion. Oh, back to my favorite observation: When one has the luxury to stand off and watch the differing opinions they can see it is reveling. For example as Romans 7 was being quoted a verse was conveniently ignored. That being: Romans 7:25. The person commenting used every verse except this one. So, be careful. Listen and watch your alarms and indications. 😊👍

If we have received the holy spirit we have been begotten of God: we have His spirit in us. And if we are *following* the holy spirit, we are (through the spirit) becoming the "new man" Paul wrote about (Ephesians 4). In that sense we are a new creature or creation, as mentioned in 2 Cor 5:17. But we have not yet been *born* of the spirit. That will not happen until we are resurrected with an immortal, spiritual body, at Jesus' return. *Then* we will not even be able to sin: ⚫ "We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not." (1 John 5:18)

Exactly right. I'm glad to see that someone understands the topic the way I always have. However, one could say that they are born again in the "proleptic" sense. If they repented and received the Holy Spirit they have the promise of God which cannot be broken, so it is a surety even though it hasn't taken place in time and space. The Bible uses this device frequently, as explained in Romans 4:17: "(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were." I suspect most people don't take it in that sense.

I understand that birth begins at conception. Yes, it’s but a seed, but is this the spirit or not. Simply because we have not been brought fully into the light and clothed with the incorruptible doesn’t mean that we are not a new creature. Is a baby less a human because he’s still a seed or an embryo? Just because he hasn’t seen the light of day and being fully developed doesn’t make him less human. Just my take. I have truly been born again!

It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 48As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 1ST Cor15/ 50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

Also read Matthew 21 below and you will see were non believer go in to the kingdom of God right after the believers. Jesus gives a parable in verses 28 through 30. then he ask the non believers a question in verse 31 and they answer him. Then he tells the Nonbelievers that the believers go into the kingdom of God BEFORE THEM. Before means AHEAD OF THEM. Lots of versions use the word ahead some use the word precede you into the Kingdom. However they ALL are going in. This guy is right on about John 3:3 Matthew 21 The Parable of the Two Sons 28But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. 29He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. 30And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. 31Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. 32For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.

@@jesseandjan you have to take in context. Previously in verse 23 it says your souls have been purified. That's also past tense. I see how your thinking it means present tense by saying "being born again" . But your have you read it in context. Even in verse 3 if states that God has begotten us again... that is also past tense. It's not something that happens after you die. It's a result of your decision to repent and believe in Christ now. And to answer your question of how can you be born again here on this earth- the answer is because it's your spirit man that is regenerated (reborn) here on earth. Not your physical body. Also if that isn't enough for you. Check titus 3v5. It specifically says saved(past tense) in regard to the washing of regeneration. It’s pretty obvious the writers of the New Testament didn’t expound on being born again because most everyone already knew what being born again meant. Jesus himself literally says born of water and spirit and no this does not mean amniotic fluid or the statement would be redundant. He means baptism of water and reception of the Holy Spirit. You see it all throughout scripture when someone comes to faith they are baptized (born again) into the faith in which they hope for the salvation promised, it is this act that kindles within a change in the heart and minds of those who believe.

Aha! I knew it! I've had arguments with pastors on this point. Because the way it was shown to me clearly said that when Yeshua returns the believers who had died previously will be resurrected in their new bodies then any believers still alive will be changed instantly and then we will all be with the Lord forever. That is the act of being born in the spirit. That is the born again part. But in order to be born in the spirit we must first become grafted in through Yeshua and grow (in gestation) until that time appointed to us to be born ....again. Some take longer. Some never make it. There's always a growth period when talking about be coming a believer. A time of sowing, a time of growth and a time of harvest.

The key for us to understand resurrection of the saints is Jesus resurrection. There are obvious differences between the people Jesus resurrected and His own resurrection. Jesus body was kind of spiritual and flesh. He appeared inside a closed door room. He wasn't recognized by his appearance, but rather by his character by the people close to him. He also ate with them, walked with them and said He wasn't a spirit.

When Noah survives the flood he sees a dove (holy spirit) hovering over the water.Peter chapter 3 18 through 21 noah and his family saved through water and now through baptism so are you. When the Hebrews escaped the Egyptians they cross through the water and his spirit covered them. Jesus was just baptized by John the Baptist when nicodemus asked him how to be born again and Christ himself says through water and spirit. Baptism. Galatians 3:27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. ROMANS 6:4 Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.Colossians 2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. This teaching makes sense. I’ve gone all my life struggling with understanding the words of “all things become new, all the old passes away,” when there is a LOT of old baggage that comes along with us once we come to Christ in faith. That is a faith killer the first time the old man crops up and trips us up. The resurrection DOES represent all things becoming new and the old passing away, in an absolute sense, not merely “figuratively.”

Why even mention the Wind ? When the holy spirit fell on Pentecost they felt the wind of the spirit , he is like the wind , you can't see the wind , but you can feel the wind and so it is with EVERY That is Born Again . You get born of the spirit when he the spirit of the lord seals you. Jesus had The FULL Measure of the Spirit , But to us were given a measure of the spirit of God. We do have a measure of the spirit ( Holy Spirit ) ...I have been Born Again , the spirit of God lives in me , he helps me in my spiritual growth . The kingdom of God is not without , it is within us in part . We SEE in Part , We know in Part . We are given a measure if his spirit . He that is spiritual judges all things . The spirit of the lord is upon me to bring good tidings . A Carnal Man cannot SEE , he cannot Hear or understand the things of the spirit of God, except Gods spirit draws him or her . . The spirit of God is like the wind . You cannot See the Wind , but you can feel the wind , and So It is WITH EVERYONE! THAT IS BORN OF GOD ( BORN AGAIN). Being Born Again begins here on earth , the wind is HERE . The spirit is Here, but ! He will too one day be removed , this is why everybody must hurry and begin to enter into gods kingdom while his spirit is still with us ......The spirit and the holy spirit is ( One ) ...When you read and the Bible says sometimes Spirit of God or holy spirit or just spirit , He is the same . It is holy spirit or spirit , or spirit of God. When the spirit of God falls on a person ,or on you, you cannot see it like the wind . He touches you and you feel it , you can feel the spirit of God when he comes upon you. Sometimes when on a fast , you can feel gods spirit . Sometimes he causes you to Repent , sometimes you might speak in another language AS The Spirit gives you the Utterances . When gods spirit falls on you , you fall on your face and you will worship him in spirit and in truth . Every human has been born of the water ! But ! NOT OF THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD . IF YOU HAVE RECEIEVED THE HOLY SPIRIT ( THE SPIRIT OF GOD ) , Then you have been born of gods spirit . . . This brother means well , but is on this topic incorrect !...the day is coming when god will not be causing or allowing people to receive his spirit , they will even seek death and not be granted that too. . . When the spirit of God fell on the day of Pentecost, it sat upon them as a flame of fire 🔥. ...They were all born again , they experienced being born again . The spirit came like a mighty rush of wind ! And fell upon them ! Like the sound of the Wind !........Sometimes when I walk , and its quiet , the spirit of the lord reveals himself , you cannot see the spirit of the lord , but at times you sure can feel him . He does not leave us comfort less. If your seeking him diligently, he will come visit you . There is nothing like the spirit of the lord when he passes by . . . . Ps ! You can also feel and sense evil spirits , sometimes even the hairs on your arm sorta rise . You can tell Many Professing Christians have another spirit ( a religious spirit ) another gospel , another Jesus. This is why there is many apostates on the religious TV channels . They go into apostacy and not even know it 😒. They never came to the Law of God through Faith in christ . Because Apostate Preachers don't know gods new covenant ( God's Law ) ...They began in the spirit , but rejected the law of God. That produces apostates . Very very dangerous to reject Christ Law . The spirit of the God is not to be played around with , He has allowed me to experience, but I have paid a price for my foolishness . I am glad that he corrects me here and in the Now . My advice , get out of pentecostal churches that do not teach gods new covenant law through christ . If they say they are not under gods law , Run and get out . Find a pastor that knows gods law , teaches you the keeping of commandments . We uphold gods law through faith in christ , keeping his commandments while being under Grace . I am born again in christ , his spirit is in me and I am still growing in grace , I am upholding his law . Remember The Lord of The Sabbath is praying for you . Keep his commandments brothers and sisters in christ our living God.

Romans 8:9-11 9 However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. 10 If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet THE SPIRIT IS ALIVE because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead WILL also GIVE LIFE to your MORTAL BODIES through His Spirit who dwells in you. If you have the Spirit in you, then your spirit has been made alive and you have already been born again (Romans 8:10, Ephesians 2:1,5). If you are a follower of Christ, then you have already been born again and recreated spiritually. Your flesh is still living and will one day die and decay. At the physical resurrection, God will give life to your physical body and will recreate it to be a heavenly dwelling for your already born again spirit.

If they respect your decision, it's great, if they don't, you need to choose God over them. I need to study this topic further. The explaination you gave about being born again by the spirit was taught to me as a child except we were taught that there were two births; the birth of water that occurs at baptism and the birth of the spirit that occurs when we receive a spiritual body. In John 3:5 Jesus did say, he that is not born of water (first) and of the spirit (second) cannot enter in the kingdom of God. So one can say he is born again refering to the birth of water. Baptism is reflective of death and burial of the old man/sin and a resurrection like unto Messiah (a new life, a birth). Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12 The reason I need to study this further is because I believe Christ taught that the kingdom of God is already here. Although the resurrection of the dead has not happened. I believe we are already in the kingdom of God.

Dude, you need to understand, when Christ walked out of the tomb, HE WAS BORN AGAIN. He had a body that could walk through walls and appear, and disappear, it was not constricted by time and space. Christ EARNED all of us the body and status that ADAM lost in the original sin. That is what we have waiting for us.

@@8thdayman271I don't disagree, what does that have to with the fact that baptism depicts a birth free from sin to live with a renewed mind? And I'm not a dude, I'm a dudeth 😂.

Agreed we are not literally born again until the resurrection, when we are literally born again we will not sin... as scripture says... Whoever is born of God doesn’t commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can’t sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever doesn’t do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who doesn’t love his brother. 1 John 3:9-10 Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible has to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality. And when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall come to be the word that has been written, “Death is swallowed up in overcoming.” 1 Corinthians 15:52-54 In that he says, “A new covenant”, he has made the first old. But that which is becoming old and grows aged is near to vanishing away. Hebrews 8:13 “Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was a husband to them,” says Yahweh. “But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” says Yahweh: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people: and they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know Yahweh;’ for they shall all know me, from their least to their greatest,” says Yahweh: “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.” Jeremiah 31:31-34

I like your confidence and its possible you're sincerely wrong. Lots of Christ's parables talked about the kingdom of God. This kingdom comes in various manifestations but still the same. There is God's kingdom revealed in and with the coming, death and resurrection of Christ, there is one that will come during the millennium reign of Christ as seeing in the book of Revelation and there is one that will be revealed at the end of all things both the old heaven and old earth giving room for the new one. Nonetheless, irrespective of the manifestation of the kingdom of God under consideration, the key to understanding and entering into it is being born again. Christ gave the hint to the understanding of being born again in same chapter. There are two types of birth here, physical or natural and spiritual birth. Having been born natural, the next birth needed to make it to God's kingdom is spiritual birth. Thus having been born, to be born again is to be born of the spirit of God. The man born again is the man dead to sin and alive in the spirit. It implies living in a new nature not under the control of natural desires but spiritual desires. These are the people known and addressed as new creatures. They are believers living and walking in the spirit and have mortified the desires of the flesh. Reading down the chapter gave further descriptions of these new sons of God. Maranatha.

I think you've covered most of what the new birth means, but the picture is not complete. Peter says "For you have been born again." In other words, a christian is one who is born again in the spirit in the sense that we obviously have not been resurrected yet. A christian can, and should, call them selves born again. If you're not born again, your are not a christian. At the day of resurrection, we will be born again and our bodies will become spiritual bodies. The labor pains is the sanctification of the born again believer, the refinement of the soul until that day comes. All of the man needs to be born again, the spirit, the soul and the body. Spirit comes first, the body last.

The word "again" as an example is not just again, but means more " from above". In this verse from Peter, another word is used in Greek. It's a metaphor for a plant, I think. But not a born again like "from above".
@randomclip4144 жыл бұрын
@@Arthur1SD Yes, but it's still the same root word. But it's not just in 1 Peter, Jak 1:18 says that "Of his own will begat he us." Which means, Christians are born again. The spirit in man is no longer dead, but alive thanks to God who begat us again. And the soul is now under the labor pains and on the glorious day of resurrection, the body will be born again aswell. And all of this is of course a sovereign act "from above".

@Hale Hafa born of water... means human born. Not insect anything else. Born of Spirit. When you realize Jesus died for your sins personally and you come to him in repentance for all of your sins. And you turn from sin and follow him and who he truly who he claims to be "I am". Do his commandments which are found In the new testament and rounded up in the two commandments. Love God with all you have, and Love your neighbor as yourself.

@Hale Hafa my guess is that not many have come to believe the Gospel found in 1st Corinthians chapter 15 verses 1-4 by which faith comes from when people read The Lord, The Messiah's biography which many dont. I would add that people hold some of their beliefs and experiences privately even if they are of the true living God just because is part of their personal relationship with The Most High from everlasting.

Spirit is God’s Holy Spirit or active force. Water referred to water baptism. Born as spiritual sons of God. They have the hope of being resurrected to heavenly life as spirit sons, provided they remand faithful until death. Only God chooses who will go to heaven and rule with Christ, its not for everyone! This is the correct explanation, but most Christendom of course teaches differently. Israel will be born again first at the their ressurection at Christ's second coming and then they receive their incorruptible bodies and can never sin or die again and they live through The Kingdom of God for a thousand years and reign with Hin in his Glory. Christians will be born again when we are resurrected on the new earth a thousand years after Israel.. First then we become a new creature a new man.... This is our new birth and our ultimate salvation.

There are some clue in the convesation of Jesus and Nic that support born again is refering to resurrection. John 3:1 NASB [1] Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews; John 3:10 NASB [10] Jesus answered and said to him, "You are the teacher of Israel, and yet you do not understand these things? There were two Ruling Groups of Jews before, the Pharisees and the Sadducces. The Sadducces are those who do not believe in resurrection. Matthew 22:23 NASB [23] On that day some Sadducees (who say there is no resurrection) came to Jesus and questioned Him, I would assume that the Pharisees were those who believed in Resurrection, that's why Jesus said to Nic "You are the teacher of Israel, and yet you do not understand these things? Another hint is that if you notice the Sadducces conversation with Jesus was also about resurrection. Read Matthew 22:23 to 29. I am not sure if Nic and Jesus conversation did follow right after the conversation with Sadducess or vice versa, if yes that would make my argument so much sense. But Of course Paul nailed it, leaving no doubts anymore.

I think we are totally born again. Now if we have accepted Jesus. What will change is the Redemption of the bodies with the spirit and the effect on the soul will not change for it is now as it ever will be. So in context of your interpretation of rebirth, and in light of verse below too, if you are not born again until the Resurrection how do you know or see that you are part of His kingdom now? Wasn't that the state of Nicodemus, a ruler of the Pharisees, that he did not understand spiritual things? Also read Matthew 21 below and you will see were non believer go in to the kingdom of God right after the believers. Jesus gives a parable in verses 28 through 30. then he ask the non believers a question in verse 31 and they answer him. Then he tells the Nonbelievers that the believers go into the kingdom of God BEFORE THEM. Before means AHEAD OF THEM. Lots of versions use the word ahead some use the word precede you into the Kingdom. However they ALL are going in. Matthew 21 The Parable of the Two Sons 28But what think ye?
