Thank you, Gentlemen 🌹⭐🌹⭐ I was totally inspired by Dr. Keener's observations/experiences last year. As for me,I BELIEVE in the authenticity of the event and added to that great circle of the Body of Christ who were praying in support. Great second season, Gentlemen.🌹⭐🌹⭐

It depends on what level. On a highly academic level, Beale and Aune are among the very good ones; on a basic level, Metzger is great (keep in mind that my recommendations are old ones, though, as I've been working on other projects the past couple decades). At a mid-range, you might like my Revelation commentary in the NIVAC Application series.

GOD moves and we argue semantics rather than rejoicing and asking that HE continues to move. 2020, LORD HELP, we get in, in a great pause, a fresh outpouring of The HOLY SPIRIT on a new generation and we argue, "well it's not really a revival." No, praise, no gratitude, just complaints like Jonah.

Not trying to be a grump, I really want to see GOD move because HE constantly is and I don't want us to miss out because our definitions and ways became more important to us than HIS definitions and HIS ways😢

As someone who has lived through the various outpourings and revivals of the 70's and onwards, I'm very skeptical of this recent event at Asbury. It seems to me that it was an emotionally driven experience. One of the most concerning issues is the reports of those who were leading the service living with a (shall I say far less than Biblical) lifestyle. The Scriptures use the phrase "you once were" and not "you still are". God does use imperfect people, but not those currently living in open and unrepentant sin.

This is actually based on misinformation that was circulated by people who were not even onsite.

I'll probably be in the minority in this viewpoint-review of this video but, the interviewer came across with disingenuous disregard for the scholarship and experience of Dr. Keener at times. The soft-sarcasm (such as his misquote of the a point on Chrysostom--I speak subjectively) seemed disrespectful and obtuse.
