A great video that shows what proper care and proper maintenance does for the lifespan of the Spyder. I know pricing is an issue with many owners as it can vary greatly, so this helps give us a good reference point. Cheers PO3!

Thanks for this info. I’m new to Spyder and have had some concerns about how fussy it is to keep running properly. You seem to have it down pat. Of the 15 or so motorcycles I’ve had in my lifetime, the Harley was the most expensive to maintain and repair.

First another really great video. And as you know, I previously owned a Harley Davidson electric glide before converting over to my F3 limited like yours. I can tell you that the maintenance cost on a Harley Davidson for regular maintenance is a lot higher than is on a Spyder. The maintenance intervals on a Harley Davidson are more often than that of a Spyder. I currently have 17,000 miles plus on my 2022 F3 after less than two years of ownership. It has been a very trouble Free machine and I was lucky enough that my dealership that I bought it from those free oil changes for life. I know that is not always the norm. But I am definitely not complaining. I have a great dealership. Your cost of ownership over the years of owning your Spyder are not bad. My only complaint thus far after two years of Spyder ownership is that my battery crapped out at 13 months. I thought I had a more serious problem and got a diagnostic done on it, but it was just the battery. Now I ride my Spyder a lot and keep it on a tender when not riding it. It just seems that the stock batteries occasionally have a bad batch after 2020 even the dealership acknowledge this because they don’t use the stock batteries as replacements. They use a different brand with a longer warranty. But other than that, I’ve been very happy. Comparison Harley versus Spyder my tires lasted longer on my Harley than they do on the Spyder. Thank you again for posting a really great video. Always informative and helpful. You and Tommy G ride safe.
@PurpleOnThree5 ай бұрын
Thanks so much, Dan!! We are so happy you have a wonderful dealership where you live! Wish every Can-Am owner did!! I think you had one of "those" batteries during those years when parts were hard to come by. I can tell the difference between the batter in my 2018 and the batter in my 2023...I'll definitely be replacing the battery in the 2023 with a BETTER one than what it came with. Have always kept my Spyder on a tender and had zero issues with that battery. Yes, agree on the tires, but my front tires last a lot longer than the HD front tire...again, not apples to apples though. Take care and be safe out there! 💜🤗🙏🏼

@PurpleOnThree5 ай бұрын
Hello, there, Mr. Bobby! I see you changed your YT name on here. 🤗😁Nice to hear from you! I would recommend taking your Spyder to your dealer to have them check the tread depth and tread wear to see if they need changed now. Mileage on tires depends upon how you ride, where you ride, weight of rider and passenger. How often do I change my tires? Well, that depends...my front tires last close to 30,000 miles and the rear has gone from 11,000 to 14,000. I have purchased tires online and also purchased them from the dealer, but my dealer has always installed my tires whether I purchase them online or from the dealer. Hope this information helps! Here in PA, our vehicles are inspected and 2/32 is the legal limit but we have changed tires on all our vehicles when the depth gets down to 4/32. Hope this information is helpful to you! Have a blessed day! 🤗💜🙏🏼
