The only thing missing from this podcast is grace. A real man forgives quickly and shows grace. A real man also embraces grace knowing they will never meet the standard set by God. We can try and try and we should try every day but the standard is Christ and we will never reach it. So the grace and mercy of Christ is an essential part of our gospel that I didn’t hear in this podcast. Edit: I want to add to this a little bit to clarify some things for people. My point in commenting this was that it’s important to fully represent Christ if we are going to at all. We as believers don’t get to pick and choose what we believe or overemphasize the points that fit our lives and make us feel good. It’s easy to focus on a particular aspect of Christ and use it to justify our actions rather than changing our actions to reflect Him as completely as we can. We obviously won’t ever get there but that’s what it means to be sanctified, to become more like Christ. So while they highlighted an important piece of being a god fearing man they left out one of the most crucial pieces that is the center of our Gospel. If God had the attitude many of us do in these comments we’d be roasting for eternity. Graciousness and patience is every bit as manly as strength and righteous aggression. Our primary goal should always be to point people to Christ in everything we do whether it be protecting the innocent or showing mercy to those who don’t deserve it.

As a 26 year old involved in the church as a musician and occasionally as a preacher, I’ve seen the dichotomy first hand. I was recently asked to speak at a men’s conference and I heavily touched topics about fatherhood, accountability, being protectors and providers, and when I tell you I was getting dead fish eyes from the vast majority of the audience. Maybe I’m too young to earn the attention and respect of others on these topics, but I don’t think the church has a done a great job even telling men they should care about these things. Let’s keep fighting for it to get better though 🙏🏽 you’ve got a new fan Kyle!

I’m 38 yrs old and have been teaching and coaching since 2008 and when you guys talked about social media I completely agree but you have to guide them to watch things that are helpful and useful. They are going to use there phones either way. So the best advice to give to a young man is to use there phone in order to help them in life… that’s a pretty open statement but you have to basically steer them in a direction that leads to be most successful. For instance your pod cast is a great example. I enjoyed this episode and appreciate your service. Also thank you to all our veterans and 1st responders.

We talk out a lot of struggles though and most of the time she sees things from our perspective, thank you Lord!

Single Dad here, my son lives with me full time. I get no help. I am a blue collar construction worker. My son is very intelligent and I have him in a highly respectable private Christian school. He is my only child. If I had 2 or more children I could not afford it. Fortunately (and unfortunately) for me I only have 1 child, but he will not be indoctrinated by these scumbags in public education. Besides that, he is also receiving a first rate education. The kind I did not receive. His schooling is a sure enough sacrifice, but I manage, thanks to God’s grace. How unfortunate we can no longer send our children to public schools because of the situation we find ourselves in…And I still live in a conservative state. Whatever it takes…Great conversation here, men. Thanks.

I went to an Episcopal middle school, but by the time I was in high school. I loved the way praying and going to chapel made me feel so loved and connected and it helped me deal with a pretty hard childhood. I was completely disconnected from spirituality by the time I was in high school, and of course drugs and partying filled the hole it left. Stick to spirituality kids.

Really needed this podcast. A Christian man, country boy, I'm constantly feeling attacked by society going after my kids. Making me question my strengths for my kids. Digital life takes their attention over me showing them bushcraft, shooting and basic chores and maintenance inside and outside the house for them to know for their futures!! It's tough, but I'll never give up
@Biserbalkanski9 ай бұрын
" feel attacked " is different from being attacked. I hear it in the sauna I go to to recover from my job and my other training. a group of young guys my age talking smack about gay people...just the basic hateful s$ I see posted online. they have no idea I'm sitting right next to them. and I don't say nothin because there's no way to tell. unfortunately the sauna gets to hot 🔥 🥵 lol to put my ear buds in. it's their parents who taught them that bs and it gets reinforced by the social media platforms. I could crush any one of them at any time . they wouldn't be ready for it. so I'm showing mercy 😊😂! it's irritating af no doubt but I'm trying my best to avoid legal trouble. but very irritating hearing their weak azzes running their mouths. I uploaded close ups of my hands and I can tell they ain't like me mentally or physically. not even close . that gives me peace because I know I could...especially in jail hehe oh yeah. that's the risk they'd run picking a fight there but they're wimps 😊. just a thought. good luck dawg 💪.

I'm in all my Playlist vids but only in one upload on this channel. sums me up pretty much . not a big guy but I hit like a heavyweight. an animal everyday all day whenever however. so that's a good lesson to teach your kids about the real world. I'm in only one upload on this account but every Playlist vid. well all of me is in only one. the rest is just friends or random. I upload for fun. I don't need to make to many for people to get the idea of the type. sorry just sayin ...they have no idea at all. super aggressive so much that I have to try not to be . most have to try to be. anyways...Biblical lesson 😂! I could rapture those hoes anytime I felt like it! 😂! have a blessed day!

Listening to this while I work. Outstanding podcast!! I wish all young and old men would hear this. Sad but true as Kyle said there is not many men worthy of marriage in this current culture. And sadly I can say the same thing of women. God alone owns and holds the plumb line of absolute morality in one hand Amos 7:7-8. And in his other hand is forgiveness and mercy if we only would repent. Really great podcast men!! I hope many hear your message!!

It’s our society for the most part. Guys are so soft because everything is easy.. work from home,order doordash,order groceries,inside all day.. and a complete lack of knowledge of how to provide food for yourself and how to protect yourself. Protect,provide.. the 2 basic principles of starting to be a man. Get. Off. The. Phone. Fellas. Get active outside. Go hunt. Go fight in a gym. No more porn. No more sleeping around. I’m not religious but use it if you have it. You got this fellas.

What is the problem fron working from home? I have more time with my wife and kids. I am much happier with my WFH schedule. We go places way more often now than when I was stuck at my worksite Mon-Fri. If you buy groceries via order online or going to the store. That is providing for your family. Thanks to my job, I was able to buy half a cow which will provide for my family. How about we push people to figure what works for them and their interests? Proper communication between partners and children?
@shelbyspeaks32879 ай бұрын
You're right but not everything is about "muh maternal conditions"; we gotta take responsibility for destroying the nuclear family (which both liberal capitalism and socialism did OK, not just 1 or the other) for building up this consumerism based economy and for normalizing moral relativism.
@Kino_pup9 ай бұрын
@@ShiniGuraiJoker that’s great. I’m not really criticizing you. I’m criticizing what wfh usually cultivates. You hear what mike says about losing community and losing the ability to talk to each other? People staying in their houses more and more is causing this. I’m not saying it’s an absolute. I’m saying I’ve seen it over and over again that people tend to just stay stuck in their own home with this. You lose something by trying to make your life more efficient and ordering food and groceries online isolating yourself from people more. You missed those interactions by not going out. Socializing skills decrease. As we’ve learned since the internet has gotten bigger, talking online does not transfer to in person conversation. I think that’s abundantly clear with our general feeling in America. Kids go outside less. Everyone goes outside less. That results in what mike is talking about.. less masculine and weaker men. I really don’t think I’m wrong.. humans in general in America have kind of decreased in socialization and total outdoor time. I’m almost positive my social skills have decreased with all the automation. I would bet 90% of everyone else’s has too. The internet does absolutely have good in it but us humans are just lazy. 99% of us abuse it and use it for laziness. We also try to gain efficiency but don’t realize we lose something in the process.. the ability to communicate with each other like humans for 1000s of years have mostly done. This has birthed the toxic online thing you see now. Worse than ever. People depressed in mass and the new generation is statistically the most lonely. Millions of men severely weakened from being chronically online and refusing to go outside and workout.. or to just learn to be men by cultivating in real life experiences. I would say work from home people are interacting less,going outside less, and in general become a much more soft human being. Sensibilities are more fragile from it. Your completely safe in your home where nothing can get you and no one can challenge you. Sensibilities weakened.. why were our grandfathers so damn tough? Friction. Conflict. In general, more challenges cultivated them to have stronger resolves. Much more masculinity about them because of it and the physical labor they endured. I’m not saying they were perfect but we are a far cry from them in terms of toughness and masculinity. Sorry this is way to long of a thing to condense. I’m only just seeing people starting to talk about this. I’ve been internally freaking out about but people are so engrossed in their bubble online that they don’t want to talk about it being a problem. it’s not an attack on you I promise and it’s not just working from home. It’s everything that has to do with being online. But being a fire fighter, a soldier.. typically cultivates tougher more masculine men. Doing something physically and mentally tough in person. I’m not saying it can’t be done.. it just doesn’t typically cultivate it.
