What does it take to rebuild Carter BBS on a Slant 6

Probably have a couple dozen of them. Different model for a flathead crysler. 6... little different carb. ball&ball flat top 4 hole bolt pattern. E7d4/F7

How does it do afterwards? Would you recommend it over a holley 1920 or 1945? Or in your opinion what's best 1 barrel for a slant? In My case it would be for a 1975 225.

A carter yf will fit but as far as the one I bought went I wouldn't recommend honestly. Hate to say it but the 1945 was far better than the yf, or at least the yf I bought (typical).

I definetly like ot over the holley . But. I found a super six intake and i converted it to a weber. The weber is amazing so far. Starts great idles like a champ.

Where does the little ball go that you left on the table at 10min next to the instructions? Does it run without it?

I'll have to look. But I believe it was replaced with a new one in the kit. Or I realized it and forgot to put it in video.

That was the pump check ball, the kit did come with a new one I guess I put it in off camera. Thanks for pointing that out.

I see some yellow in your engine compartment. Someone told me that the slant six in my 68 d300 would have been yellow. Is that true? And would you know the correct color? Thank you!

Yellow is rh color for the slant in those years. Not sure shade or color code

It was included with carburetor rebuild kit.
