I was homeless for a year and in my darkest nights, He was there with me and the truths He shared were so precious. I wouldn’t trade one minute from this past year for anything. One night, it was 28° in early April and the car wasn’t running, needed to be repaired, and I woke shivering and complaining, and the Holy Spirit said, foxes have holes and birds have nest, but the son of man has nowhere to lay his head. Just keep telling your hubby that you love him...and that Jesus loves him...as you do whatever you can do for him. Love heals things that bandages, crutches, and doctors can't...then hug yourself...and cut yourself some slack! GOD is love, and he sees you!

Call your local hospice, they have volunteers who will come sit with your husband so you can get out for a couple hours. He doesn’t have to be terminal for them to help you. You need a break, you need a break, you need a break. I do this with our local hospice here in Florida. 🙏

I came across this video last night and really enjoyed it. I struggled to connect after you made the comment about not being a feminist. Really it was more than a comment it was on the verge of a rant. How can someone who works in a world once dominated by men say she’s not a feminist? Why is that a dirty word to you? Do you not believe women should be valued, are as smart and important as men, and deserve the same respect? I’m assuming you worked hard to be where you are. I’m assuming at your age you’ve experienced men making you feel less than and you decided that you had value and would prove them wrong. You may not like the word, but it doesn’t mean you aren’t a feminist.
