It’s no longer rebuild but reload because of the NIL. Conference realignment and scheduling will also play a major factor in determining a national champion. It’s a shame Indiana doesn’t come to Lincoln this year.

College football has always been cyclicle. In the 70s it was the old Big 8 with Huskers and Oklahoma winning championships. In the 80s it was the Florida schools. In the 90s Huskers came back. In the 2000s it was USC, Oklahoma, Texas, Then the SEC. Now the B1G.

Nebraska came close in OT but no cigar also Nebraska almost threw a wrench in the college football playoffs by almost upsetting Ohio State in the shoe least margin of victory for the buckeyes.
