It's much longer than the original, which is not good for me. even a complete opposite of what I want. and too much combat for some reason, in a horror game... like Calisto Protocol. (that game is the first to have really amazing horror vibes but plays like a beat 'em up lol) also no fluff text, which is sad. and no loading doors, that is also makes me sad because it made a lot of the spooky atmosphere. by this point I'm just thinking to myself, why would I want to play this "SH but not really SH" game ? and it starting to feel like every remake by now reaching a point of identity crisis where there is no room for something exciting anymore, and I'm just waiting for it to crash.

To correct Cory like the nerd I am 🤓👆: Persona 3 is about death and acceptance (Not at all a dream as there is no such thing in 3 besides maybe 1 circumstance), 4 is about finding the truth amidst the lies, 5 is about standing up to society and the powers that be. Not social media although popularity is a part of it, in the grand scheme of things it is certainly not the main focal point of what the game is trying to achieve with its message or gameplay. What the games share is their focus on Jungian psychology and not necessarily demon fusion as that is an element shared by BOTH SMT and Persona. Persona 4 actually features virtual classes on the topic of Jungian psychology weirdly enough. Metaphor is a spin on both series mashing them together into something unique although as to what form of psychology it is I'm unsure, but it certainly places emphasis on the literal meaning of Archetype and humanity.
