they all looked so good this episode!!! i loved the themes of this one. feeling like bad things keep happening to you BECAUSE you're you. ugh, so relatable. and then the way lorna created that protection spell is just so beautiful. uniting people all over the world just to protect your daughter. i am so eager to see who what the relationship between teen and agatha will be at the end of the show. i'm pretty on board with the theory that he is going to be some version of billy kaplan/wiccan. i am less convinced that some part of nicholas scratch is possessing him or whatever. a 40 day cruise sounds like actual hell.

This has been one of my favorite episodes! I laughed and applauded to so many theories! Whitney’s take on the pain that women go through not being believed if it can’t be seen and it literally lifting off her shoulders was amazing and so articulate! MT backing it up with comic book lore was great! And I always miss Tommy when he’s not here, so it was great to have him back this week. And the letter to Santa almost had me in tears I laughed so hard! What a great week for the show! P.S. Whit…you didn’t say the theme names!!! Rio killed her son. Without Agatha knowing that was the price she had to pay for the Darkhold. That’s why Agatha hates Rio.

@@TheTenthDoctorandHisTardis interesting theory! I’m thinking (depending on the timeframe, if Agatha was under the Darkhold’s influence or not), maybe it was a chain of events that led to his death or maybe kidnapping?? We don’t for sure know that he’s Dead dead, just that he’s not Teen.

@@Paintimenti I don’t think she had the Darkhold. I think at the end of the Witches Road, when she asked for the Darkhold, there was a price to pay that she didn’t know. That price was her son’s life and Rio killed him. I also think Mephisto is at the end of the Road. That he’s the one conferring power in exchange for souls most likely. But the Darkhold was a big ask so he took larger payment. Well, at least that’s what my kooky brain thinks! Haha.

The reason Mrs. Hart died is because EVERYONE forgot to put a strand of her hair into the potion. Even having given her the antidote, she wasn’t going to live. Lilia and Gulliver were actually facing Mrs. Hart too, so to me at least, it makes them a little more responsible. In fact, I think that’s why Gulliver was so especially broken up at the beginning of the episode. It was interesting that during the battle scar sharing, Lilia stopped talking before completing her sentence. She said, “I love you guys,” in the beach house. That was the end of her sentence in this week’s episode. So her yelling, “Try to save Agatha!” and out of place moments are going to be silent in the actual moments she intended to say them. It seems like her clairvoyance is actually time-traveling without her knowing it.

I do think Rio is Mistress Death but I think they merged her with Hecate which is also why she's THE Green Witch. Hecate being a goddess of death after all and tied to witchcraft

I think old Mrs. Hart actually died at the same time as Mr. Hart when they were out driving on the road one rainy night, accidentally crashing into the car that the Teen and his recently deceased biological parents, the Kaplans, were in BEFORE the Teen ran into the middle the night "Sharon" hit him with her car in episode 1... Billy should be dead already, like his parents, but he's not, causing Rio to take interest in him. Rio mostly just knows he's not Little Nicky, since Nick's soul is elsewhere and no part of Billy is Nicholas (best to rip that band aid off and spare Agatha from harboring the false hope..), leaving Rio somewhat in the dark and curious to know more. There's a whole story to who he really is, and Death herself wants to know all the details when it's revealed, 'cause normally people don't return to life or reincarnate the way this kid did. Whichever soul is really on the inside, he's cheated death out of the extra body that was supposed to be left behind when the Kaplan family died in the car crash with Mr and Mrs Hart's vehicle out on the road between Eastview and Westview. They all died "on the road" too. "Teen" himself and Agatha both can't recall the car crash that resulted in at least 5 bodies.. Billy would prefer to keep thinking the Kaplans are alive whenever he speaks of his biological parents, I.e. the most recently deceased set of parents he recalls, 'cause if he acknowledges their deaths, then he has to think about the fact he technically didn't survive that car crash either

MCU should know longer lend out its properties to just make cute little shows like this.. the shows not bad but it doesn't represent the quality of the MCU and Marvel needs to gain back some trust and wow factor after a few years of mediocrity and stinkers, making an okay show that really doesn't move the narrative in anyway on a larger scale is going to hurt their core.
