Pile 1: Every single thing resonates for me! I’ve been going through a major transformation. Five years ago I had to move away from my home in California to recover from a health issue in another state because I could not afford to live there while on disability. I worked hard to rebuild my health and made the decision to return to school and earn my degree while in what I felt was exile. I set my intention from the start that I would return home after graduation. I graduated in May and now I have to make it happen. I freaked out in fear over the past two months because it seems so daunting, but finally pulled it together around the first of August. My fav movie is the Wizard of Oz and I’ve been pulling inspiration from that story a lot lately because I feel like Dorothy and I have so many parallels; whisked away from our homes and stranded in a beautiful and magical, yet foreign land. I even have a wicked witch sister here in Oz who tried to control and eventually turned on me when I said no to her demands and manipulations. All I want is to go home where my daughter is and everything that is dear to me. I even tried clicking my heels together and repeating, “There’s no place like home.” There she is! On her way down that last stretch to the Emerald City. Much like Dorothy, for me it is bittersweet to leave behind the connections I have made here and I think part of the reason I stalled for a time. But the knock on your door and the message on the phone tells me opportunity is summoning me and it’s now time. I chose the pile the other day with the slave dancing to freedom card. My ticket home is on its way. Red Riding Hood shows the path is even closer. Strangely, I even dreamt of a Pegasus the other night!A classmate and I were riding one and flying away over a rainbow. I knew it had significance. But the smallest detail is what made me cry. It was the little white bunny in the 2 of Wands card at the girls feet with the swans. You see, last year my precious little dog Ben passed away which was devastating. His nickname was Bunny and I can feel him with me in spirit, I even hear him bark at me sometimes. Hey thanks for this (: pile #2. Been feeling energetically (and also physically working toward) a huge shift coming into my life. I put in so much work on myself for almost two years that I'm feeling beyond burnt out.
