CT knows it's coming and they. need to get to work setting up protection procedures. Point Blank Every Blue State needs to be prepared.

Understanding that education is our future is important. The value of education begins with the parents. The problems with education are not easily solved, but can begin a resolutive posture when children attend school regularly. I am of the firm belief that school should begin at 3 years of age and go until14. Then move students into commercial/trades for two years. At this time students can decide if higher education or technical education is something they are interested in pursuing. We also need to incorporate technology into learning so students move swiftly into areas of interest. We need to teach a generation ahead, so that students are ready for their chosen careers. Too many folks want to regress instead of looking into the future.

We don't have schools to make workers; we have schools so that the workers we have will be educated. You're missing the forest for the labor.

You should've seen them before it was organized. The only reason America can compete in tech with China and Japan is because the DOE sets standards for schools that would otherwise never have a technology department - like here in rural NC, where many parents prefer a Sunday School over an actual education.

Beyond sad, beyond reprehensible that lack of education or interest or whatever you have that this completely skirts the lack of understanding and advocation for the children. I will bet you dollars to dimes the greatest problem is with the family or parents that do not see their part in this. Don't give me your crap about being concerned for the kids this is all about the adults wanting what the adults want has very little to do with applicable pertinent interest in our children. The kids are fine the adults are freaking screwed up.
