We have to live a Quranic life and therefore the result will be a Quranic environment. Andalusia muslims kind of lived a Quranic and trully Islamic lives, so they were the peak of the world at everything. No polultion, no high rates of crimes, no desctruction, no over spending.... Great answer. I am a geologist and I am following this so called climate change/global warming issue. I would say to the young generation, to not worry, don’t be anxious and get more valid information regarding earth science/geology and what affects climate change. You will find lots of pros and contras between scientists; I am in the skeptical group (the unpopular one) and based on my knowledge, we do not know everything; so many things affect climate and we cannot just simplify it that mancaused CO2 is the major contributor. That is my simple short comment. As a muslim, like Ustadz Nouman said, in the Quran it clearly says only Allah SWT knows when the judgement day will come. I agree completely with ustadz; lets focus on the Quran, prepare for the judgement day than worry about it. Quran also says that we should learn and see, study and observe so we can appreciate Allah SWT’s great creation and love Allah more and more. By learning both earth science and the Quran insya ‘Allah we will get less anxious. Personally, I am concerned and sad hearing the young generation panic about climate change. How many times people says the earth will come to an end and here we are being more prosperous than ever. Ustadz is right. Read the Quran, the see what is happening with the world the take your stance. May Allah guide all of the young generation, enlighten all with ilman warzukni fahma.

What would be the gross rate of metabolism? Would it be EFFECTIVE enough to suck out enough CH4 to have a soon enough effect in wake of methane clathtrates bubbling up from the shallow sea waters of the boreal and arctic areas and thawing permafrost and other methane sources? The current concentration of CH4 is about 1889 ppb.now, so the more methane is in the sky, the better it would work, wouldn't it? If he was actually thoughtful he would have questioned the whole concept of climate change in the first place! All he had to do is look at history and see climate has always changed so it's quite normal to believe it will always be changing with or without us. If he was so thoughtful he would not believe suddenly co2 which is needed for plants (our food) to grow turned out to be a problem. He would have had some questions when the climate top elite came together to discuss how to reduce cow farts they flew 400 private jets to that meeting. He would have wondered if cows and other livestock must be reduced to save the planet then why wouldn't he be next. He would have wondered why we are the ones that need to stop driving cars, stop flying, stop eating real meat, stop warming our houses so the elite can live their lives and fly their jets because they can afford to do so. If he was thoughtful he would know he is mislead into building his own prison. So the Surah in the Quran that comes to mind right now is Surat An-nas.

I disagree. He answered the question perfectly and DID guide us. He told us to use the Quran as a source of something WHOLE. Like he said we turned Islam into a prescription to answer all of our infinite problems which is not the way we should go about it! He basically told us we need to consume the Quran every day and you will find all the answers to the problems.
