@@hartgameart Are you planning on releasing a course or something like that? I really loved your style, i'm watching your streams on twitch and that's an awesome orc!

@@omnuu Thanks! I appreciate you checking out the streams. I took a break from streaming to focus on this channel for a bit but once i'm in a groove I plan on streaming again. No plans for a course right now but it would be an interesting idea down the road. Definetely something to consider!

I'd like to watch a video abour your Spec/Gloss texturing workflow for stylized assets! I'm kinda used to Metallic/Roughness and have never tried the latter.

That's definitely something I could do! I'm not really sure how often spec/gloss is used in production these days but I do really like the results you can get with stylized work in a spec/gloss workflow

Hello, I watched every your video because you have great tips and an interesting workflow to watch and listen to. Thanks for making them! Do you have any tips for motivation to work on your personal projects after working hours? If you have to do that every working day, what motivates you to sit down for more sculpting, modelling, etc.?

short answer: it's tough! It's changed a bit as I've gotten older. Early on when I was trying to get my first job in games I was working at places like Target and I was just driven to not be in that place anymore so it was just the pure motivation to improve my situation. These days it's a lot different. Whatever i'm doing at work I try to make sure I'm doing something different in spare time. Since I do a lot of stylized work at my job (well mostly just managing these days) I try to do something way different in spare time. Lately that's been realism and also learning how to do hair cards better. The excitement from working on something new is a great motivator. I also think it's really important to put yourself first. When I finish work I try to make sure I do a few things for myself, get a work out in, cook a nice meal, spend some time with SO and pets and take a shower to reset the day. That way when I sit back down in front of my computer I'm not feeling crappy like I didn't accomplish anything else. It leaves me less time at night to work but I rather feel like I'm taking care of myself and make a little progress than the other way around. Even with all of this some nights I still don't want to really dig in. On these nights I might just gather reference, find other art that inspires me or even just organize my files a bit! It's not huge progress but it still something. This was long winded but hopefully helps a bit. Most importantly though be kind to yourself and remember there is always tomorrow to reset and work towards your goals!

As you mentioned, I was doing more personal projects before I got into this industry, and now it got really slowed down. Will try to implement variety and not do exact same type of work after working hours. Thanks for replying, Eric, wise words!
