Dr. Ortiz could you discuss drug induced lupus? I was diagnosed with it after using Humira.

Absolutely excellent, great job explaining this and simplifying. Thank you for being a cautious doctor and not anxious to put people on dangerous suppressant drugs. The best statement that your body will try to correct its auto immune issue. I am living evidence of that after 25 years of various auto immune issues

When you talk about symptoms lasting "3 months or longer" do you mean 24/7 for 3 months, or coming and going for at least 3 months? Also, what are your thoughts on the idea that the various antibodies that we test should really be zero for the most part, and that being "within range" per the lab's thresholds doesn't necessary mean the result is completely negative? Some consider this "mildly" positive.

Hi Doc, Would you please talk about Chillblain? My husband has this on his toes and we have no idea how it comes about and what to do? Thank you very much!

I have swan-like deformities, Heberden nodes, edema, swelling that won't go away on my legs, hands, and ankles, flaky skins on my legs, my left side is much larger than the right, arthritis, and I am using a walker and have a power chair. My CCP came back as a weak positive 23, my RA Factor came back as a 47, but my ANA came back negative. What does this mean?
