Great video. The 13th century for me, is the greatest era in the history of western civilization. Man lived for God and sought heaven as the greatest possible good. Immense cathedrals remain as if they were skeletons of dinosaurs now extinct, but amazing in their intricacy and beauty. Cathedrals alone would be enough evidence of that glorious past, but we know there is much more, all that has been mentioned in this video. Once human beings moved on into the Renaissance, they were more enamoured of humankind itself and what men could accomplish without God. Thus we have the so-called Reformation, but in reality once we were in the Renaissance, around the 14th century, we were on the road inevitably to what we have today, the modern era. We believe that technology has brought us to a wonderful new world, when in fact, I believe, just the opposite is true. Thanks for having the courage to explain your point of view because people, society in general, can sometimes become fierce when someone expresses the idea that we are not living in the best era of human history.
