What annoyed me was privileged foreigners who give us a bad rep. I was at Seda hotel a month ago when a tall American jock was being obnoxious. He was acting like he owned the place and caused a scene. Flirting with every single girl who walked by him just assuming he could pull any girl because of his nationality. Please people don’t be “that guy” in the philippines because you look bad trust me. There is a difference between confidence and disrespect

I think our history has greatly affected the way we treat foreigners. We we're colonized by Spaniards, Americans and occupied by the Japanese but were not taught to hate them because of bitter past. Instead we were taught to be welcoming to guests and visitors whether you're a foreigner or a fellow Filipino.

The US got The P.I. in a war with a European power and offered you the choice of independence or a chance to become a state in our country. May I add that shortly after WWII my elementary school teacher, in explaining the map of US territories, told us the Phillipines will be the next state added to the US. My many Pinay friends, and the large number of nurses that have come here to live are such great people. I hope you can survive the pressure China is putting on you to take you and your land, because we have such sold out and weak Democrat leadership we are of no help to anyone even ourselves.

I have a fiancee from Cebu, and I just want to say that since I have been with her and been to the Philippines three times, it has opened a world to me that these people are the most caring and kind and friendly individuals in the world. @@blackseed68 I went down to General Santos and the Sarangani provinces, this is where i experienced the best street food and kindest people. Davao and Samal Island took a tricycle to a very nice resort but I don’t remember the name, the entry fee is reasonable and well worth it (crispy patas was delicious). Also to Makati but didn’t enjoy it there much because I am not a city person at all, the people there were cold just like most big cities. If you go to general santos look for a food vendor selling Isaw and other fried foods, (Lando) he makes the best food i experienced in all the Philippines. The Avior Hotel in gensan is highly recommended very comfortable and amazing breakfast.

it really depends on where you meet a tourist in the philippines, cebu is a major tourist draw and foreigners come to cebu for different adventures the province offers. on the other hand if you meet a male foreigner in angeles city in pampanga province you dont need to analyze the purpose of his visit because it is a red light district and men do come to angeles city because of the night life and bar girls.

I doubt that these white losers back home came into the philippines for the culture or garbage dumped streets, these nerds came here cause they know very well that filipina women would 100% accept them even if they have alcoholic and abusive repititions. I as a student would see a white guy (40 - 50) above currently with a (18 - 20) above pinay chick. I would feel bad cause if given the opportunity lets say this girls have filipino boyfriends or husbands would be immdiately left out cause their girl would take their chances on the losers back home when really they didn't even get anything from their country and migrate here in philip

If you meet foreigners from the south eastern US like Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia and North Florida you’ll have met many kind and loving people. Sadly many foreigners have moved into South Florida and around Atlanta Georgia that’s giving them a bad reputation. But original Southerners are mostly kind and loving people. I LOVE THE PHILIPPINES AND HERE IS WHY: I’am a German shipping agent in Mukran, Germany and since I work in shipping industry, I got in REAL touch with Philippines. Before, I just knew some people visiting Philippines for holiday. But since I come in touch with those Philippine seaman’s on the vessels, I learned to love them! Seriously. I NEVER met any Filipino, which was not nice to me. My stereotype of Philippine people is now following: Top skilled workers, unconditional loyal, extremely friendly, funny, cool and most important: Just welcoming! And, since I’am in this business I recognised that everybody in shipping Industrie loves those. I spoke for example to immigration police for a shore pass for the crew. They asked which nationality? I said Philippines. The officer told me, Phillipine seamen are always welcome. In his 20 years expierience as officer, a Philippine crew member NEVER made any problems. I always try to arrange the best for those guys! My next travel destiny will be for sure Philippines🇵🇭❤️🇩🇪

SOME Pinays who adapt to ridiculous changes when married a foreigner: 🔵 Squander money that's not theirs. 🔵 Prepare excessive food every occasion to (either intentionally or unintentionally) show off the wealth gap between them and their relatives (who prolly looked down on them when they still have nothing). 🔵 Create or join a circle of friends who married foreigners and act elite (group in one table during social gatherings and gossip things while making snide remarks about one another. 🔵 Outside the circle, backstab the other girls with the ones you're closest with. (backbite their ugly foreign husbands and their disgusting behavior). I mean, not all of them but I often see this circle like predators in the wild pretending to be domesticated. The dramatic changes of behavior is crazy. 😅

Phillipines is cosmopolitan and was since all those Spanish, Chinese, Americans, some Japanese and Koreans lived here too. And now an influx of other nationalities and even retirees are settling down here. By the way even in Biblical times a part of Noahs family came to settle in the North but also in the South. We have the Hebrew derived names of mountains and places as proof of that and even King Solomons gold and wood, to build the Temple came from Ophir, the Hebrew name of Philippines.

Thank you for this video! That was very interesting with the first person Lisel you interviewed who has a relationship with an Australian. I did watch a documentary that men from rural developed countries tend to marry city girls from developing countries like the Philippines which can sometimes lead to cultural shock and misunderstandings for both. Australia from my understanding is one of the least densely populated area and was surprised to learn Australia is approximately 80% the size of the USA but has a population roughly less than the state of California. Australia surprisingly has more arable land per capita since I always think of the Outback deserts when thinking of Australia. Wow lots of girls in Cebu overall are dating foreigners. That was funny with your reaction when the girl mentioned she thinks foreigners visit the Philippines to date and get married as their main motivation. That was very smart of that girl to appreciate foreigners to support the local economy. Here in Hawaii there are mixed feelings towards tourist but when the pandemic happened they realized that tourism is important since it brings in a lot of revenue to the people of Hawaii. There was also an article about an energy crisis that the government had to look for additional energy resources since burning trash actually was a source but was not available from the lockdowns because tourist actually contribute to the trash we burn for electricity!

The connection between Mexico and the Philippines is the Spanish Galleon Trade which was administered by the Spaniards since the Phil and Mexico were both former colonies of Spain. Similarities between Mexico and Phil are...they both love... 1) boxing 2) beauty pageants ( especially the women of both countries they love watching beauty pageant on tv especially Miss Universe ) 3) Cockfighting ( both countries have those ) 4) Telenovelas ( but in our country it is called Teleserye ) 5) Both love White Skin ( I have some male mexican friends who are obsessed with blonde american women while flipinos prefer Mestizas ) 6) Religion and Family is important to both countries ( both are Roman Catholic ) but the only difference between Mexico and the Philippines is that the Phil. don't speak anymore because after Spain the next country to colonize to the Philippines is the US and they taught us how to speak English so most of the Phil. ended up learning English as their second language so most Filipinos now speak English.

Great job Mr. and the beautiful Filipinas. Indeed, some tourists or Westerners have cold shoulders because of their culture. I have lived in the US for 4 decades and our neighbors are friendly, but unlike Filipinos (Filipinos are far intimate). We are extremely busy with our lives, careers and much more for folks who are raising children. We also keep our lives private and we don’t visit uninvited or with no appointments. No room for “marites’s” However, many Filipinos (despite being busy) have kept the culture going and they get together often. God rescue the economic climate of the Philippines and the USA. Jerome Powell has increased the interest rate again. More layoffs, more unemployment and more citizens will struggle. Homelessness will (even) skyrocket. 😢
