Having grown up as a Roman Catholic and attending Roman Catholic school from first grade through my Bachelor's Degree and having been taught by many priests, brothers and sisters it's really interesting to hear the thoughts of a young lady about to make her profession. I've always heard the term and knew of the ritual, etc. But, it's very interesting and gratifying to see her happiness and excitement for the choice she has made and the commitment she is about to give. May God bless you in your life's work, Sister. ❤️🙏

Love Australian "swearing". "Bloody" isn't that hard, but does Matt ever say "strewth" or "fair dinkum" (that's probably not a swear word, but who knows - and maybe "strewth" just something they say on film...)?

As an Australian I can unfortunately say, I’ve never heard any of those words in my life 😂 apart from tv of course

@@dimitrap5615 Might be an old stereotype, used by actors not familiar with the accent :D

What happens to the hair of the newly confrimed nuns? Does it get recycled and reused into wigs for children with cancer? It would be a shame if it just got discarded.

Monastery? With the monks? Why not the convent where the nuns hang out?

Mother refers to the spiritual motherhood she's taking on by her life profession. It's a beautiful and fitting term. The west has the tradition to use that only for the abbess/vicaress, the east for all life-professed nuns.
