The next step should be one axial motor per wheel with a planetary gearbox and there for removing the diff.

Yes, thats all well & good, HOWEVER, what we all want to know is... Do these new eAxles require regular PM lube changes just like a conventional diff? If so, What kind of lube to we feed it? !

Edison said no North American company's would sell him an axle, so he literally had to go to China. This is just a guy talking with pictures.
