What FNAF into the Pit Hides in Oswald's House

Five Nights at Freddy's Into the Pit is a pixelated nightmare as Oswald, our character, is tormented by Spring Bonnie. But even though this is a 2D-looking pixel art game, it's actually crafted in a 3D space. So let's take a look behind the scenes to see what we can find out of bounds and off camera. We'll be sequence breaking the game too, so I hope you enjoy!

This layering allows for you to go behind objects! Zelda 1 is a good example. Think about how you never actually go behind things, just around. This is because it uses a top down style of 2d animation, where you basically slap everything on top of your base image (Disclaimer; not 100% sure, i havent actually fact checked this but it is close enough to explain why into the pit is done how it is lol. this HAS been used but idk if its been used in specifically z1 i just cant think of any other games rn that are well known enough) and then your colliders cover the entire object. You can see how this works by finding the edges of the colliders, because you can tell how they change a little bit. Also, oswald moving forward and backwards from the camera is him changing layers, basically- at least im pretty sure. I'm assuming the colliders only apply on the layers an object is on, meaning although they have full collision all over, you go behind that collision to go behind objects. You can't go forward when behind them because you'd be going into an area with a collider, and can't go through the front or sides for the same reason. It's a little hard to explain but hope this helps some!
