What graphic settings do I use on my main Gaming Setup for Farming Simulator 25

This is great thank you FK! I have a RTX 3060 Ti and with your settings I can run 55-60 fps. Turning off the foliage shadow gave me an extra 15 fps.

I always had an issue in cab with sticker textures and screens looking blurry in 22. Checked on my console and it was clear as can be. 25 seems a lot clearer even without using the sharpen filter from nVidia overlay thing.

I have a 12900k and 3080 Ti build from a couple of years ago. I was using modified ultra settings at 4k but had to dial down the draw distance to 150%, which I don't like as much. I tried your settings except 4k in place of 1440p and turned on DLSS (still comparing quality vs performance). That allows me to bump out the draw distance to 200% and is very smooth which is nicer and closer to my preferred balance. Then I discovered that these are almost the same settings I had for FS22. I should have started there!🤦

How do I get FS25 to show that frame counter?

There is a console command to do it (google it) or you can turn it on within Steam if you use a PC.

Another related question when I change the game to Windowed mode I cant maximize it. I have a 4k monitor and running the game with the same resolution as the monitor. Any idea why?

Windowed mode should run fulscreen if the game resolution is set ot the same as your display. If your playing on an ultra wide for example make sure the ratio is the same in game as your display is. I have run windowed mode for many years again because I want to be able to alt+tab out of the game to other windows and not have the game minimize on me and it runs in a full screen window.

I still don't get smooth performance at 1440p, and I have an I9 14900KF and a RTX 4080 super. gave up playing with settings. Just slapped it on high and never touched it again. Hell yours looks better in this video on my phone than it does when I play. Can hit high frame but consistency and microstutter sucks. Not sure if settings are bad. Or monitor sucks. Or what.

do you have this installed on a hard drive, ssd or NVME drive? if its on a slower drive move it to a faster one if you can. Second with the game closed delete the files in the shader_cache folder. Its in the same folder as your mods folder then start the game. Give it a bit to cache shaders as you move around the map and things should smooth out.

no, I would not suggest upgrading from one 40XX series card to another 40XX series card. Most will skip generations before they look at an upgrade so you could skip the 50XX series and go with what one would guess would be the 60XX series in a few years.

The picture is really pixilated, blurry and lagging. Is it youtube or just how you graphics are. I have high quality and no issues on my side

Check the video settings on YT. Sometimes it will play a video in low resolution instead of your default. I've had that issue in many different videos. Sometimes its fine, other times it comes up in 480p on my 4k monitor.

I am running an i7 11700 and an RTX 3060 on High custom settings and get between 40-55 FPS. Would it be worth it to upgrade to a 4070 series card?

Not unless you get one on a serious deal. Hold out and see what the 50XX series has to offer they will be announced within the next month or at least thats the speculation. Typically you best bang for buck will be skipping generations.

My old system would only do 30 fps and would only run low settings so I'm upgrading my system

The problem I have with this game is the pop in. Especially on grass or straw it’s ridiculous. Kills my eyes to look at for very long

you would want to increase the draw distances if you can with out hurting performance.

Im building a new gaming pc got all components a x870 asus wi fi plus mb 9800x3d, red devil 7900xtx 64gb corsair dominator l30 ram for 4k gaming. First time i ever had a close to top performance, futureproof pc.

All of the FS25 Games seem washed out compared to all of the FS22 Games I have currently. I have had to modify the settings of my NVIDA Card almost at the cost of my FS22 Games and general viewing. I am running a NVIDA 4070TI

I'm curious, have you tried turning down the brightness setting on the FS25 main graphics setting page? I haven't used it personally but if it seems washed out, I would try that as a first step. That would be application specific. You can also (or used to with the old control panel) set application specific settings in the Nvidia settings. I would try the adjusting the gamma setting in the Nvidia app.
