@@joshuarenard3147 well Barry was also responsible to a lesser extent because he made the disruption of a fixed point possible by tine traveling in the first place, he didn't kill darkside himself because he backed out at the last moment it was the spell on him that did it anyway which is why Constantine was punished much worse. Not to mention he had to spend all his life building the towers and warning Bruce on warlord as penance for his part

I can see that play out as the speed force punishment for Barry. In the comic he is stuck in there running from death until final crisis I think.

I watched it with my son today. So it seems like Darkseid is kind of like the DC version of He Who Remains in Loki.

Darkseid is the God of the Platonic concept of evil. So going back in time to remove and delete something that is inevitable to exist is what caused this, due to the fact its impossible. You can't remove the person who embodies the very concept and fundamentals of evil, just as how you can't kill the person who embodies the concept of death or love, or happiness etc.

@@pablosalazar4954 I'd say it's like killing a universal constant like in Marvel they had stated that the Molecule Man Owen Reece was the same throughout the Marvel Multiverse but that could have been retconned and or made non-cannon I don't really keep up with them as much as DC Comics which sadly isn't as often as it used to be for all Comics in general as of late.

This was a big twist I didn't see coming so that why Constaine got punished it was him who did it to Barry all along though can't say I blame him I wouldn't want Darkseid in my universe either though he didn't know the Anti Moniter would come into play as well.

I mean in the end John and Barry were the bad guys in this situation and the anti monitor was the hero. He… it was just removing a cancer to the multiverse. Without darkseid to destroy and keep each universe in check the multiverse ran rampant and unchecked to the point it was to much for the universe to handle so it cleared to board

@@PennyFitzgeraldFan Trigon is not nearly as evil as Darkseid for a multidude of reasons. The biggest one being that he showed heart and care for Raven at the end of that shitty Apocalypse War film. Darkseid feels love and remorse for no one. Outside of that, Darkseid is literally the God of the concept of evil. How can you be more evil than the idea of evil?

@@maskedcrusaderings I see what you mean there yeah Trigon does seem to care for Raven but that was because she gave him a planet he can destroy and have fun with and to beat up Darkseid for all eternity has he actually done this in the comics but yeah Darkseid cares for no one but himself he truly the most evil charcter in DC and unpopular opinion I like Apokolips War as it one of my favorites movies no offense if you hate it that fine I think at this point it overhated?

Some of the things Darkseid has done is wild. it's definitely overhated I'd argue the New 52 movies/dcamu movies were treated too harshly compared to the Tomorrowverse movies. Don't get me wrong, I think the dcamu was awful but the Tomorrowverse movies were so bad they actually make me miss the dcamu movies.

Constantine pretty much turned Barry into an assassin. That’s the thing with time travel it’s very unpredictable like a butterfly effect by killing Darksied Constantine gave birth to an even greater threat instead of chain of events that gave birth to the crisis of infinite earth.

I really don't blame Constantine and Barry for giving into that move and others in the dark magic arts for signing off and allowing it. I really don't. Darkseid has become a really insufferable antagonist in most of his iterations lately. He's like having to deal with a Videogame Boss that is "NOT FUN" to deal with, on all fronts. He has a way of pushing people too far and he is embodiment proof that "Bullying" can even affect "The Man Of Steel" too if nobody does something. I actually liked this animated movie universe because they didn't have to deal with "THAT GUY"......

We all knew that the multiverse was being wiped out, we just didn’t know why. It turns out that John Constantine had something to do with it. After Darkseid laid waste to earth, Constantine cast a spell on The Flash to go back in time and rewrite history. This meant destroying the person responsible when they were at their… most vulnerable. Even though he knows the consequences, Barry simply can’t bring himself to hurt someone that young. But the die is already cast, and just by being present next to him he puts an early end to Darkseid. Alas, without the tyrant around to serve as a deterrent to the other villains in the universe, this set into motion the horrific actions of the anti-monitor.

Wow where have I been? I really need to start catching up to these DC animated releases. The last one I saw was Long Halloween part 2. Thanks for these updates, now I REALLY have something to look forward to catching up with the rest of the series

Darkseid is like a natural catastrophe necessary for life to exist. So if for example you got superpowers and you stop a volcano from eruption, saving thousands of people, but also cursing the world sibce volcanos are necessary for the earth to regulate. Boy that is one mess up story

It's gonna be like the Cosmic Brotherhood OF Steel vs Cosmic Ceasars' Legion if they just went at each other in a timeline now. Congratulations to you cynical comic fans. I hope it was all worth it. Now I remember why I gave up on Superhero Comics and just started spending my money on videogames instead.

What gave the Constantine the right? Unique and only Earth crumbling around him. If moment of Darkseid death shattered universes and gave birth to them, then before universe was one, right? Given a choice would you see world burn or take your shot at baby Hitler? And if I remember correctly in original universe they kicked Darkseid butt, but then Flash decided that Flashpoint is something that needs to exist.

They didn't know that he was listening through Cyborg, even after they lost to him. Besides, they had no way of transporting to Apocalypse, so they were screwed either way since they can't rely on Cyborg to carry them and any conversation they have around Cyborg is an immediate liability.
