6:30 Unfortunately the trash situation is only good where municipality services (basically garbage disposal and sweeping, cleaning etc.) are offered and there is effort put in by the people. Jaffna and the northern region in general is still facing a few growing pains coming out of its war torn past and as such lack these services which keep Lanka clean. I'd also say that the people, while quite literate and capable, don't really think much of illegal dumping sites as there is no enforcement from any official body.

Brother it’s like juggling a million things at once. When I’m filming there’s so many things going on around me, I’m trying to react accordingly, sometimes people get upset with what I say, not realizing, I’m focused on filming, conversations, making sure I’m staying aware of my surroundings, watching out for cars and traffic and maintaining energy for the viewers and btw that’s just the filming part none of the backend work like flights, visas, accommodation etc. People don’t understand what goes into this, but with that being said I love traveling and learning about people so I love doing this. I've seen many sinhalese areas that are trash all over the places. The southern provinces thrives on tourism even when the tamil areas have affected by the war. Hence they keep tourist attraction areas cleaner. Tamil areas are undeveloped due to.lack of funding from the sinhala Buddhist politicians. Isn't it the responsibility of civilian s to dispose trash systematically without throwing road sides .just like in South Indian state's. Its a pure responsibility of the city council to handle properly with tax payers money. Central government has nothing to do with it. In all other provinces of Sri Lanka garbage disposal is handle by respective city councils. @@nalin8182it’s one part of Sri Lanka that has heavily been affected by war and continues to be neglected by the government for development…all the government does is spend money for military to occupy the north east. What else do u guys expect? This country will never flourish unfortunately cause of corrupted politicians. Most of the Tamils of North and east have fled the country,

Tamil tigers = terrorist organisation which was crushed thank go, we have to spend so much moeny on the military to keep these war mongering tamils at bay. When Jinnaa did get Pakistan (Including Bangladesh) no one expected that Bangladesh would separate one day . Y Bangladesh separated from Pakistan? Cos of Urdu was made as official language but NOT Bengal. The same way Sonhala racists run Srikankan regime did yhe same mistake by making Sonhala and Buddhism as the ONLY state language and religion and unleashed atrocities against Tamils since 1948 and still doing the same atrocities against Tamils.

The island have two SEPARATE Nations. Tamil Nation and Sinhala nation We Eelam Tamils DIDN'T come from Tamilnadu South India as wrongly claimed by enemeies. Eelam Thamizh island and Tamilnadu were same land several 1000 years ago and divided by a SHALLOW sea due maseive natural disasters. Tamil Nation r NORTH and EAST of the island named as Srilanka after 1972. The Forefathers of Sinhalese were immigrants to the island belonged to Tamils. Tamils R NOT so called Hindus at all cos the word Hindu was coined by a British Officer William Jones in 1799 to notify all religions except Islam and Christianity but Tamil is the oldest living language under the sun and wr have our oen name for our religion as Saivam. Now Tamils follow Saivam, Christianity and Islam.
