Friends, Sooryavanshi is Akshay Kumar's last successful movie in which he is the main lead. Since Sooryavanshi, 08 movies of Akshay have been released but only OMG2 got the success but in this movie he was seen in a supporting role. Apart from OMG 2, none of his movies were successful at the box office.
From 2016 to 2021, 12 movies of Akshay Kumar were successful at the box office, which was the golden period of his career, but from 2022, only 1 of his movies became a superhit at the box office in which he was seen in a supporting role (OMG2). Difference between Tanhaji and prithviraj is Tanhaji wasn’t perfect masterpiece it had flaws but what it had is ajay spent more time to prepare for the role, director had time to improve the script or make changes, saif had time to enjoy getting into his character, and you can see both ajay and saif gave it their best movie was good with many flaws but time was given, akki took prithviraj as a joke and finished the role in 40 days like his regular movies, the movie was rushed and made so quickly, u can see how flawed it was and akki doing rowdy rathore type dialogue delivery. He even boasted about finishing it in 40 days, because of the arrogance and comments he’s suffering and built many enemies. He should of just kept quite on 40 Days role and let the film release and if it fails it fails but his comments affected him a lot. Yes for these kind of role method acting is important especially he never played a role like that, he also looked very slim he should of grown his body, he’s tall guy and it would of suited him. I think he doesn’t know how each movie and role works, not every film can be completed in 30 or 40 days and not every role can be done in 40 days.

Kesari, Mission Mangal, Housefull 4 and Good News...he has given 4 Superhits in 2012 : Rowdy Rathod, Housefull 2, OMG and Khiladi 786...He gave 4 superhits in 2007 : Namaste London, Hey Baby, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Welcome...He has given 4 Superhits in one year not once but three times....and audiences loved it...After giving 4 superhits in 2019 before pandemic...he opened the Box office during end of pandemic with Superhit Sooyavashi... Audiences after the pandemic has changed as economically they are in bad state...and now only films with historical disturbing facts work like Kashmir Files, Kerala Story, Gadar or films that get corporate booking or South Indian mass action films, or films with male toxicity and violence. Bade Miya Chote Miya had action but it had lot of scientific concepts like Cloning and brain chip mapping which uneducated masses will not understand or appreciate...so that is where it went wrong ... Educated people who saw the film loved it...but many educated people did not see it due to some online reviewers who supposedly spread negativity as they didn't get paid to hype the film....The masses in the Tier 2 and Tier 3 centers do not see reviews before seeing a film, but they did not understand the scientific concepts in the film....so word of mouth was not good by uneducated masses in small towns....So that is why the film did not work...If the film had just mass patriotic action by Superstar Akshay Kumar and Superstud Tiger Shroff then the film would have been an All Time Blockbuster !
