He had a career it’s just not in the nba. Everybody can’t make the league no matter how many points you score wherever you are. In the league everybody can score but can he do other things that can make a team win on the nba level. Because he traveled around the g leagues and the nba development system but he never developed into a nba player. This happens to a lot of good players

Smaller hoopers have to constantly battle the stigma that height makes a basketball player. You have to be damn near perfect at your position to last. Look at IT. From all star to not on a team? It's like they only make basketball suitable for 6'2 and taller players.

Height is important, it can't be overlooked, a big reason why many offensively gifted players don't make it to the highest levels is because of their lack of defensive flexibility, if ur small you can't be used advantageously in switches, instead ur a negative mismatch. Not much use of having a break-even player who gives up the same amount he scores. Also with a lot of these smaller players like Aquille and Julian Newman their primary attribute is ball handling, which is not a valued role attribute like shooting, passing, rebounding, defending Etc especially at that height, Kyrie and Kemba can't be used as examples because they're stars, the one true ball handling role player Jamal Crawford isn't in the league anymore.
