He was so incredible during that short run in 2019. It seemed like he was hitting everything out of the park. I thought he was gonna be one of the best players in the league to come, but it sadly never happened.

Im a huge baseball card fan, and I got started with that in the summer of 2020, where I pulled a numbered aristides aquino rookie autograph. That card is what spiked my love for baseball cards. It's value has dropped about 10x since that time, but I still cherish that card. Im rooting for the kid.

He has definitely been on the struggle bus non-stop since then. Nevertheless, even though they had a losing season, 2019 was one heck of a time to be a Reds fan

Couple corrections, Castellanos was basically the day one Right fielder when he got here, so Aquinio didn't lose time because he played mostly Left field. And second he wasn't included on the 2020 opening day roster and was relegated to the backup team (idk what else to call it, 2020 was weird)

Aquino has been horrible so far this year. 2 for 38 (.053) with one homer and 21 strikeouts. That means he strikes out more than half the time. Pitchers know he can't hit breaking balls so that's basically all he gets. The only reason the Reds haven't cut him is because there's no one in the minors who's ready for the big leagues. This is a very weak team.
