It makes some sense that Billy never came back (although I'd like to see him!) as if the government learned he was alive they would arrest him for the shootings. He would have to remain off the grid to keep safe, although Rebecca reported his "death". Carlos on the other hand is such a missed opportunity. He should be part of the BSAA considering his experience in Racoon City. Plus he and Jill would be friends so she could be in contact with him! The Resident Evil series has a bit of a history of forgetting characters; there are so many that are still alive in the canon but we never hear from!

Whenever characters are reused in Resi games, I kind of get disappointed. They already dealt with crap like this, it doesn’t feel that spooky. Rookie cop Leon and directed by Tom Cruise Leon are two completely different things, but Resi 7 using Billy would have been interesting. He done it before, but not only is he dealing with a completely different threat, it’s also been a while. Billy is also just way more interesting than Ethan who feels more like a JRPG protagonist.

With Billy, I feel like there are five options: 1. Billy immediately fled the country after Zero, avoiding the Raccoon City incident. Mexico or Canada are my quick guesses as to where he went. 2. Billy was not able to secure his escape in time and had to deal with the outbreak. He did not survive. 3. Billy remained in Raccoon City at the time of the incident, but escaped before the city was destroyed, and probably left the country afterward. 4. On the run, Billy was accosted and captured by Umbrella agents. After which, he was neutralized, either via experimentation or kill shot. In either case, his body was destroyed along with Raccoon City, legitimizing Rebecca's statement of his demise. 5. Billy was approached by a rival organization to Umbrella, perhaps the one that in which Ada repeatedly shows allegiance, and they offer him closure via the whereabouts of the soldier who gave the kill order in exchange for his services. The last one's a stretch, but the potential there is interesting.

I had this one thought of Hunk (working with Blue Umbrella) and Sherry Birkin working together on a mission. Hunk would try to keep his mission involving Sherry's father a secret but Sherry would eventually find out about it, creating a lot of conflict between her and Hunk. Just a thought though. Especially not compared to the big characters like Chris, Jill, Leon, Claire, Ada and Wesker (who are the ones with most appearances). Billy wasn't even popular or known at all, his game, RE0, wasn't that successful to begin with, and only appeared in Gamecube, a great part of the fanbase didn't even possibly know or cared about him. It was until much later that more people knew him with the remasters.

According to the official Canon of resident evil 10% of the population is extremely resistant to the t-virus and Jill, Carlos, Leon, Claire, and everyone else you play as in Resident Evil games are all part of that 10%. Plus bites also canonically have the lowest infection rate of all the different ways you can get infected hence the reason why Nemesis was able to infect Jill in the game because he was given a stronger strain of the t-virus to use in a absolute last case scenario if he can't kill one of his targets but even then the resistance was still strong enough to keep her alive long enough for Carlos to get the cure because anyone who wasn't part of that 10 percent would have turned in about 5 seconds or so lol 😂🤣😂🤣😂

But because of her high Resistance she was able to survive for like a day after the infection time because it was roughly half a day before Carlos found her according to the game and by the time he got the cure and made his way back to her it probably would be around a day later since the initial infection time meaning Carlos was probably cutting it real close with that cure hence the reason she was out after he delivered the cure until the day of the nuke

Personally, I found Helena to be boring. The only interesting part was her sister. Aside from Carlos and Billy, I'd like to see Sheva and Ashley again. I think it would be cool to see Ashley develop into a stronger character after RE4. Honestly, if they remake RE4, they should give Ashley's character a cool development.

I do have several questions: 1) You say four characters, but Wesker dies in RE5, so that would mean he'd influence events prior to RE5, and sometime after Code Veronica (that's me making a hypothetical thought), so how would Wesker influence both Carlos and Billy? 2) Could it be possible, that Billy or Carlos, be the new MC for RE8? I ask, because I'm not entirely sure they announced who the new MC would be. If they did, then who are they? 3) Also, I like the idea you mentioned about the comic series of other characters, but what are your thoughts on the manga of Resident Evil, of the events that take place before RE6, and it's MC, Ricky Tozawa, who survived a Bio Terror attack at Marhawa Academy, with the help of Chris Redfield, and Piers Nivans? Would you ever make a video covering that short series as well? 4) Considering that they already made, what, three animated films starring Chris, Leon, Clare, Ada, and Rebecca, is it possible, that they Capcom could make one, that revolves around either Billy or Carlor, or perhaps both?

I mean I do remember RE0 Wesker and William saw Billy with Rebecca. and then Wesker was in re2 when Leon drop that sample to save Ada and the official Canon states Wesker was at the bottom of that drop and caught it. there's a chance after the incident at the Mansion he went straight to raccoon City for a while to collect whatever he could to betray umbrella and came across Billy in the woods or outskirts and got out since Claire and Leon got out of there long before they locked down the city for the bomb strike in RE nemesis and was able to locate Sherry after the government took her in and Carlos does work for if they found out he was still alive after all that Wesker might have grabbed him too later when he, Jill and Barry went their separate ways.

Billy is low-key my favourite RE character, I always hoped for another appearance but it's been a while since RE 0 and I sort of lost hope at this point, nevertheless I didn't know that part from the comic, pretty cool, I guess the comic is a bit wilder than the game counterpart.

Billy and Carlos both end up in the BSAA and end up working together as partners kicking ass everywhere they go. Carlos and Billy both undergo Chris's boulder punching regiment and become swoll af.

It always bothered me that at the end of RE0 Rebecca takes Billy's dog tag as in implying that she wanted something to remember Billy by and that the two would reunite again in a future game again or at least that's what I got from the ending.

@@SHADOMEGA7569 The effects of the T-Virus and Ne-Parasite destroys most of the host's brain. So Billy wouldn't recognize anyone. Besides, Nemesis' identity as Billy could be revealed in a very subtle way. Imagine finding a document in a lab where a scientist describes Nemesis was made from an escaped convict they found in the Arklay mountains. That alone would be enough and tragic.

The 2 month timeframe between RE Zero and RE 3 is nowhere near enough time to develop a BOW as complex as NEMESIS. Sorry guys but this theory is stupid and why it keeps popping up so often is beyond me. NEMESIS is a modified T103, the same as Mr. X, only difference being the NT Parasite.

I find billy coens story has a ton of potential. His outcome is strange to me, yet makes sense. His goal is to be off the radar, but as a character he doesn't strike me as a person who would want that. I think he would rather seek retribution, and learn of the leader who misguided him. He was stationed in africa aswell, and we know umbrella had many experiments there for cheap. He could be the 1st character in RE that actually dealt with biological warfare in Africa, which could provide alot of answers for himself and umbrellas origin. Yet he doesn't seem interested in finding out who screwed him over. His backstory is open ended, but interesting.
