Arizona Cameron ...all they needed was 30 second scene of a parachute dropping into a watetfall in the middle of the credits and you see the back of someone crawling through mud...camera pans forward at his face and its Arnold again looking up at the sky and says a one liner saying..."You've come bach for the hunt again...you one ugly muther F.....the credits roll when hes about to say the F word. That would have been worth the ticket price and a sequel. They should just let a die hard fan write these movies instead of people with no talent.

Retires from the military. Starts working as a high profile detective. There he goes undercover as a school teacher and eventually meets a woman that he falls in love with. Soon after that he finds out he has a twin, and although him and his newfound brother hit it off, his brother sadly passed away because he was ill due to the fact Dutch took all the good chromosomes while in the womb, leaving his brother with not much in the way of everything a person needs biologically to survive. After his brothers passing he went on to star in a few action movies that gained him high success and many fans around the world. This is where he met a young boy who "bought a movie ticket" that led to a series of weird shit that really didn't make any since, but the bad guy had a cool fake eye that was sometimes a bomb. So the world let that slide. After that he worked in politics for a while. Learned how to officially pronounce California, however never once actually doing it while doing press conferences. After that not much else is known about Dutch. I've herd sources say he went to become a sheriff in a small bordering town in New Mexico, and I also herd he had a daughter that caught some weird virus. But this is what Dutch, The only man who killed The Preditor and managed to make a blockbuster hit out it did with his life. Hope this helps.

THAT would be awesome. Befitting of the story. That could be a movie in and of itself. Royce and Izzy making babies and having them tested against these creatures as they get older, an entire community of new spartans. At the end of the movie it becomes clan on clan warfare where the humans win and earn a spot as predators in their own right and they're given a ship and equipment to start their own hunts. The ending scene shows the human predator clan back on earth in a south American jungle, watching soldiers from the treetops in their chameleon suits. Then fade to black.

The Thereman Schwarzenegger never did a sequal to Twins. There was a film in 1994 starring both Devito and Schwarzenegger called "Junior" (I assume this is the film you are referring to) and it even had the same director as Twins (Ivan Reitman) but the characters are completely different. In Twins, Arnold plays Devito's twin brother Julius. In Junior, they are unrelated medical colleagues. Arnold's character name in Junior was Dr. Hesse (I think his first name was Alex, but I dont remember. That was a long time ago)

I think it would be cool if Arnold reprised his roll as Dutch in a movie where he leads a crack team of champions that have survived and killed other Predators. Getting the Champion from the other Predator movies, including AVP, Isabelle and Royce (Predators), McKenna(The Predator), Alexa(AVP) and Harrigan (Predator 2) had to assemble and fight against Super Predators and alongside Regular Predators.

Door Dutch to be in the film the part has to be more than a cameo or a under 2 min appearance that doesn't move the film forward it instead it just plays to fanboys. Dutch has to kick some ass and I would love to see him take out a bad blood predator while in predator camoflogue then remove the bio mask and tell the characters who remain to get to the chopper while he trys to hold off the other predators or the government who are hunting them. It would probably be best if he was trying to stop the government from acquiring more predator tech because he could avoid any more contact with the predators so that he could live on while staying relevant to the story.

Arnie admitted in his book that he was never at all interested in returning to the Predator franchise and I don't he has ever been a fan of the sequels. Predator was no doubt a film that was ahead of it's time such great characters, memorable one liners, great scenery, good story line and above all it gave us on of the most iconic villains of all time.

In Predators Isabelle mentions Dutch and his squad to the remaining survivors. Saying it hunted and killed his men and he was able to beat it by hiding his body heat with mud. He gave a detailed description of the alien and it matched what we saw chained up in the hunters camp. In Predator 2 they mention Dutch and his squad. They make no mention of it in AVP or AVP Requiem.

I always thought a cool Predator sequel would involve a Predator who comes to Earth to basically kidnap Dutch and force him to compete in some Inter-Galactic Gladiator event, where all these life forms come to compete, representing their home planet, with Dutch representing Earth. This time, Dutch saves the Predator competing, and ends up teaming up with him in order to escape.

I've read somewhere that the name Hyperdyne was changed from Cyberdyne at some point when the script was made. I don't remember the reason though, but the link between the Terminator universe and Alien/Predator universes was originally obvious in the Alien movie scripts.

i think the reason arnie doesn't want to be in any other movies is cause of how terrible they've become since predator and predator 2 (the only decent movie after P1 And 2 imo was predators)

In an interview with Arnold he confessed that Predator was the hardest movie he ever acted in. It demanded a lot physical activity from him, the jungle condition was too harsh, too humid and he didn’t enjoy filming there. I also read that Sonny Landham was a crazy guy and hard to work with. The studio had to hire bodyguards to protect the actors from him!

Thanks for this acid glow, I love all your aliens and predator covers and always watch it, I'm also a fan and writting a wattpad story of a predator hunt in the philippines and I'm also thinking to have the aged dutch visits the philippines and when he found out about it he help the filipino cops named Reynaldo who was a target of the predator by giving him advice and share his experience and that helps him defeating the hunter. Hope so later I have a chance for it. I'm currently conducting a study for my wattpad story.

Just reboot the series and do it right. Don't need Dutch in every movie. Turn Dutch into an acronym or name of a company founded by Dutch. So now we have a James Bond of alien security. Where the actor can be changeable and we can still have a cohesive story.

That ending would be SICK man, Dutch Shaeffer? Just unmasking and saying "Not bad kid, not bad at all" as a Clan Leader? Hell yeah baby! Also Arnold made the BEST decision not to be part of the latest Predators movie of 2018. Shane Black screwed up the franchise. But i don't think Dutch will be back, not after Fox being bought by Disney.

I think this is where the Predator franchise went wrong, there is no continuity of characters from movie to movie...The ideal would be having the predators come back to hunt Dutch as an Apex hunt either taking him to a new planet perhaps where Royce and Izzy are, or taking him back into a remote earth location for a one on one battle ultimately becoming a Predator clan member or leader. Another solution would be having a hybrid Ripley face off against a predator as they would see her as the ultimate human/alien trophy if they found out she existed.

Ever since I was a kid and to this day, in my personal canon/head, Dutch overcame the Predator (obviously) but died from radiation sickness soon after. I could always see it in his eyes at the end. The grief, fatigue. He knows he's fucked. He knows he'll die from this, but he's still in utter disbelief about the amount of havoc the Predator wrought. He's at the end mentally and physically, he knows it. Ya put up a goddamn good fight Dutch.

Dutch got an honorable mention in the *Predators (2010)* movie, starring Adrian Brody. Highly recommend watching it. :D

In the paperback books about Schaeffer, starting with Concret Jungle, (which I thought had alot of similarities to the Danny Glover Predator movie as it regards to the police, gangs, predators, and government spooks aspects of the story), Schaeffer is either told or led to believe that his brother had been turned over to the Predators as a means of appeasement to them. To which Schaeffer, either as an aside to the reader or in disdain to the General, that by doing so they would have only angered the Predators because by handing Dutch over they were essentially denying the Predators the opportunity of Hunting a target of proven lethality and cunning akin to ruining their 'sport' and/or the chance to test themselves against him.

The wrist-computer would have disintegrated when the Jungle Hunter set off the self-destruct. Better explanation would be the Hunter's bio-mask, which was dropped somewhere in the Jungle. The mask monitors the Yautja's vital signs even when not being worn at the time. The self-destruct would be detected by the bio-mask, which would send a signal to the Yautja's landing-craft, the craft would then auto-pilot to the Jungle Hunter's main ship, which would then also auto-pilot its way back to Yautja Prime to have it's recordings analyzed and then probably an un-blooded trio would then be sent to Earth to hunt Dutch Schaefer. Bam. Lore-friendly tie-in.

I never even thought Dutch should be a character in other Predator-movies. So it doesn't really bother me. For all I know he probably ended up KIA somewhere soon after the film .
