Thanks!. I've been wanting a Dymo for a while and you saved from buying the wrong one.

You're welcome. I'm so disappointed with the new label maker! :(

We had so much fun as kids with those things. I so want a label maker but I’m not gonna worry about one now just mark it with a permanent marker. Not the greatest but it’ll work. Happy Saturday Xeta.

Happy Saturday back to you debbie! We all had them back when didn't we? I had a black one with a white wheel. I don't remember throwing it away. I'm so sad the new ones feel so cheap. Add another to the heap of history :(

I've still got one of the blue ones somewhere around my apartment. I used it as the basis for some scifi energy weapons in a comic series I'm writing/drawing.

I can see that as an energy weapon :)

I have both lable makers. Both work fine. Just to add. The older one came with 2 letter wheels, the newer ond didn't.

It cool that the wheels could be changed. I do like clicking to advance, rather than finding the space on the wheel.

I still have the label maker..Do they still make the tape for it ????
@xetaprime27 күн бұрын
Yes they do, but I think they discontinued the 1/4" tape. You can still find some new old stock on ebay. Most of the tapes available are 3/8".

The new ones are crap. I still use one though because printed labels wipe off with heavy handling. They do however offer a $80 office quality unit if you really hunt. You can actually switch the discs out on it for different fonts. It's also supposed to be easier to squeeze and has a much more industrial design factor being metal. Personally I just can't justify the expense to make labels for personal use items.

Thanks for the info. I think I know the one you're talking about. I might search for a NOS one like in the video. Not that I have anything else to label, but would be fun to have.
