Honestly That Chris Herren story on ESPN’s 30 for 30 just might be the greatest episode they ever aired. And I think if he didn’t have that drug problem he definitely would’ve had a decent nba career

Yes if a drug free Chris could've played with a healthy Bird , McHale, Parish , he might have had a NBA career

Steve Wojociehowski and Norman Nolan were teammates of mine on the first basketball team I ever played on. I was 8 and they were 10. Two years later, Mark Teixeira became one of my teammates. And to touch on the 1995 class, Louis Bullock scored 50 points in a game against the varsity team at my high school, he was a Freshman. His team lost and he scored all but about 20 of their points.

The older guys in NYC say Kareim Reed was on the same level as Stephon Marbury in high school

Those older guys are lying-lol Kareem Reid had BIG heart, but talent wise? Not on the level of Booger, Rafer or Marbury. Not close.

Whatever, whatever... Felipe was THAT good. But school choice matters. Hard to play against your teammates as well as the other team. And, basketball is a confidence game. Once folks saw the struggle at St. Johns? Their confidence went up. Then there's the AI guy who just happened to show up at the same time. Shout out to Felipe though. He's an NBA lifer. Will always have a job.

Jelani Gardner was decent at Cal, but Tremaine Fowlkes got more praise and Gardner didnt like it. Todd Bozeman gave him $10, 000 not $30,000 like his lying parents said. Bozeman didnt even have to pay him. He already had him signed. Todd Bozeman essentially got a lifetime ban for paying that scrub. People like John Wooden and Eddie Sutton and Jim Calhoun paid players but they're in the HOF
@jamespohl-md2eq
@jamespohl-md2eq 3 күн бұрын
Lifetime ban? This is really embarrassing. FOR YOU. Bozeman was the HC at Morgan St from 2006-19. It’s pretty clear you really don’t know what happened and why they came down so hard.

@jamespohl-md2eq Todd Bozeman beat the 2x defending champion Duke Blue Devils in the tournament. Beat a legendary team and a legendary coach In His First Full Season. You're telling me the best he could get was Morgan St?? Stay in your lane son

@@mongoslade277I thought we were discussing Todd Bozeman. The guy who went 13-14 and then 17-11. Who has a record of 258-252. Stop pretending he had some huge and sustained level of success. Stay in your lane, son

@jamespohl-md2eq We're discussing the guy that is a good coach and great recruiter. Todd Bozeman did something that Rick Pitino, JimCalhoun, Bobby Knight, Roy Williams, and Jerry Tarkanian couldn't do. Beat that Duke team in the tournament
