This was the class that had William Gates and Arthur Agee from Hoop Dreams.

Something you forgot about Jalen Rose is that he started his own open-enrollment charter school in Detroit.

Yeah, sometimes I try to cut things down for guys we know more about because I figure people are more here to learn about the guys who didn't make it. Still try to highlight guys like Rose as best as I can, but I don't want to be talking about him for 5+ minutes. It's a fair criticism though!

That 1992 video is going to have the creator of this channel working bc besides Jason Kidd, Williamson, and Harrington, that class was not very good.

@@Mystic_Mary I know who he is. He played at Washington before going to Kentucky. He was not a major recruit in 91 or had a star basketball career to be mentioned as if he was forgotten.

Juwon Howard getting injured was one of the biggest reasons why Houston couldn't beat Dallas because when Juwon Howard was healthy in that play-offs series, Tracy and Yao's Rockets were kicking Dallas's ass because Juwon Howard was hurting the mavericks inside with his post up moves and midrange jumper. When Juwon got hurt that's when the rockets started getting blown out by the Mavericks. Juwon Howard was actually starting at power forward in Houston and was a solid third scoring option in Houston.

14:13 let’s not forget that another NBA player Howard Eisley was also on that Jalen Rose high school team, imagine a regular Public school high school having 3 future NBA players on the team, it was pretty much unheard of at the time

A star studded class. At one point this class and the 1989 class was compared to the epic 1979 class. The 89 class was closer. Most of the players in this class went to the Big 10 & the ACC. The SEC, Pac 10 and the SWC (Southwest Conference) had no McDonald's All Americans from this class. The Big East only had one. This is the last class i followed bc i wss in college now. Travis Best was touted as the next Kenny Anderson. Cherokee Parks was supposed to be the next Laettner

At no point were they compared to the 1979 class. The best classes have been 1979, 1981, 1988, 1995, 1996, 2004, 2007, 2016. Both were solid classes but were average after the first 10 players.

Rick Brunson was nice the few times the Knicks gave him playing time, but the Knicks had so many guards on the Knicks team that Rick unfairly got benched. Rick Brunson was a better player than Chris Childs but Chris Childs contract automatically granted him playing time over Rick.

well, he got his payback..because his son Jalen is the MAN for the Knicks now :)

Rick Brunson used to always ball the eff out in garbage minutes in Knicks blowout games. He had a decent mid range game, and he could drive to the basket at times also.I used to get pissed when Van gundy subbed Chris Childs over him because Childs was a certified bum.
