Same here! The first and FD5 are my favorites.. It's crazy when you go back and re-watch it and realize there's only one cell phone used briefly and all the cars are from the mid to late 90s etc All these little details I didn't notice upon first viewing.. Then it clicks at the end just how 90s they actually made the film, even with things like the Lasik surgery which was crazy popular in the 90s. My mom got it done in like 99 lol

Can honestly say this sequel (or prequel) has the best twist of any movie I've seen. If I didn't love FD3 so much, FD5's genius ending, epic opening, creative deaths and fresh rule twist would have definitely made it my favourite.

It would be cool if they could keep exploring the "human killer to skip death" concept, it could open some cool concepts to the formula of the franchise, what if they have two groups of people on different but somehow related accidents, and one person of the two groups is a psycho, it could play out like a "paranoid thriller" set in the "final destination" universe

What I’ve always found intriguing about “Final Destination” and this one, is that the flight takes off on May 13, 2000. What’s interesting is that May 13th was on a Saturday that year, but it would’ve been on a Friday had it not been a leap year. It’s almost as if it cheated its fate. 🤔

I watched the movies out of order. The first one I watched was the roller coaster (the 3rd), derby pile up (the 4th), plane crash (the 1st), pile up (the 2nd), and finally the bridge collapse (5th)

My brother and I watched this in theaters when we were both in high school. We both loved the 2nd one so much growing up. This was such a pleasant surprise added to the franchise since the one before it was soooo bad. Love the horror Easter eggs that they still keep in it like Scream. Can’t wait for the next one.

You’ve got nothing to worry about. In reality when they do the procedure the laser only goes off when the doctor’s foot is on a paddle. The machine won’t operate if you’re in the room alone, (which you wouldn’t be in the first place), and the laser is nothing like it is in the movie. Maybe you knew this already, but just thought I’d say in case you were actually considering getting it done.

I think it should've been called Final Destination 0, since it was a prequel to the first one. I've seen another movie series that did that, but it was a Japanese horror series. If they called it Final Destination 0, people could watch it first before the others.

Final Destination 6: Bloodlines is already rather official... the accident will be on a top floor restaurant of a tall building one of the deaths will include a revolving door all so this time around death is killing entire families, because they were not suppose to be born to begin with something like in that "Titanic" episode of "Supernatural"

First let me be clear. Tony Todd's character KNEW nothing. As we watch all of the films we see (in the first one) that he tells them to figure out 'death's plan' (wrong), second film he told her that she needed to create new life (wrong). By the end (which as we know was his first attempt to explain it) he suggests that killing someone and taking their remaining years (wrong.). I found his character dull after the second time when he was WRONG again. Indeed, in my imagination, he was Death (in the first one) who was just letting them know that you can change a lot of things in your life, but not your destiny. I did love the 2nd one the best, then this one, and finally the first one. The first one was, for me, destroyed by Carter. He was too petulant and as a joke his damsel in distress routine simply did not ring true. Perhaps if Billy Hitchcock had been the screaming (Willie Scott--Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom) it would have seemed more realistic. Oddly though, for me the teacher--Val Luten--was the best character in the franchise. Perhaps because the actress playing her came across as the one with them most acting talent. I really did not want to see her die, and the build up to it was one of the best.

7:04 this one isn't true. The restaurant Sam works at is from the same chain, true, but it's not the one shown at the end of FD 1 (how could it, that's in Paris!). But it is the restaurant he's supposed to go to for his internship, had the whole flight 180 thing not happened.
