This video really speaks to me and confirmed my suspicions about what was going on with flub's channel with regard to his loss in viewership, when I started my channel I remember getting inspiration for my level request series from his series so I followed his channel closely. I remember watching it slowly fade into obscurity ever since he took that break. I've seen a decent amount of success in the shadow of his channel and only as of recent have I been able to see the mistake that that has been. Much of my content is very similar to his and I fear a similar fate.

Hey Zak. I definitely agree with this comment. Most of the problems are in the fans. He has stated in Discord that he really does not like getting pulled into GD every two seconds. Yeah, your definitely right, I’m one of the few fans that just likes Flub, no matter what game he plays. Unfortunately, Flub’s family-friendly audience has many salty kids due to the family friendly status and the level requests.

As a long time fan of Flub, I completely agree with this video. Flub had built up an audience that only wanted level requests, and that's because he uploaded level requests every week. His main GD community has 100% left him, with only the staying fans being the people in his discord server. I feel like Flub could change his content in some way to maybe get some revival, but it's safe to say that the GD community used him as a tool for clout, and now the tool is worn out. Flub can do whatever he wants, and I would still watch. It's just this video made me have a new perspective on the situation Flub is going through. I will admit, I might have been one of the many kids in his fanbase, but at least I somewhat stuck through. Also, the fact that Flub has "temporarily" stopped Flub vs. Fans might be another reason why his fanbase just kind of...left. Another great video Lfritz! :) (sorry for the long message i just wanted to say what i thought about the situation)

Quality stuff. As someone who is still a close friend with flub, I can tell you that his KZbin personality is not a representation of who he really is. He’s a totally different guy outside of KZbin and he’s actually a pretty cool dude. Another thing is that a majority of the gd community are between the ages of 6-13 so they’re bound to grow up and realize the content they’re watching is bad. I’ve been a long time friend of flub (since he had around 1k subs) and even back then I barely watched his content. I asked around some of the people in his discord and they themselves said that they hardly ever watched his videos. He never really had an audience. He had views, but no audience.

Imagine I go over to my favourite level, a hard demon I randomly found on the "recent" tab and loved the concept. In Rainbows. Now imagine my surprise when I go to look for other levels by this creator, who also created the "Easiest extreme demon" (now insane demon) and find out they have a KZbin channel. And what's this? It's the same person I started watching hours prior, who's unique content and voice sounding more edgy than even Zylenox's managed to make me happy to find a new upcoming geometry dash KZbinr that's actually entertaining. Cheers to you my man, I wish you the best in your content creating journey as it can only go up from here :)

I have been a fan of flub for a while. His videos were questionable at times. I feel like i started watching less and more talking with his community in his discord. his content was clearly designed for younger audiences. that does not mean older audiences also cant enjoy it. In my opinion both Flub and Colon made Juniper relevant. Colon gave her a shoutout in early 2018 and kickstarted her channel to 10k subs then flub brought her to around 20k subs. Then she grew slowly overtime then The Kenos happened and she's growing faster then ever

This is kinda the same reason that Markiplier and Pewdiepie struggled in 2018, they blamed it on the algorithm. Pewdiepie expanded his content, while Mark hasn't and is now in some kind of weird content limbo. Unfortunately for Flub, he didnt have mark or Pewds personality and charisma so that channel was going nowhere, similar to most dying channels

I remembered being an ultimate fan of him. To the point that all of my levels were dedicated to him - which I deleted a few months ago - and I almost commented on every videos of him for him to play my levels but I failed. But one day, I don't get updates from him like I totally forgot him and I saw him once again on his video saying that he doesn't wanna play GD. So, I respect. The only reason I know about flub was from Juniper a while back, and the hooniper and floob series. I actually did enjoy the hooniper and floob series back then, but when I went to flubs channel he didn't post any content like that, so pretty much the only personality I saw from flub was through juniper

I know Flub as a friend, and as much as it pains me to hear all of this stuff... I know it's true. I was never into Geometry Dash that much, but I know that he will never go back to it. In my opinion, if he ever wants to see more come from KZbin, he should leave his current channel for another one. I know Flub does appreciate his community, but only the close friends. He gets upset when people talk ask him for more Geometry Dash content. I know he has social anxiety and he probably used his channel as a medium.
