that's because the story is super confusing if you didn't have an entire encyclopedia of knowledge of the games/books. The video's are meant to expose and speculate on the story of fnaf, which changes every time a new book or game comes out.

I hate when people refer to KZbinrs as sellouts for things like sponsorships or advertisements. First thing people need to know is that this is their JOB. They aren't greedy for seeking payment for their JOB. Imagine calling a restaurant a greedy sellout because they didn't give you your pizza for free. Second of all, what difference does it make to you? MatPat spends dozens of hours every single week to deliver you 15 minutes of free entertainment and in return all he asks is you spend 30 seconds to watch another company try and get you to buy stuff. I think calling people like MatPat a sellout for getting brand deals and sponsorships is one of the most selfish and entitled things anyone can do.

Well said. People don't understand that it costs a lot of money to hire people and feed a family just on KZbin videos. It's not like KZbin just "gives" you money, you have to do things to earn it. It's life, and sorry to break it to some ignorant people but living costs some money, and now that Matthew and Steph are full time on KZbin, they need to make some money too. I showed my sister (she’s 10, I’m 15) a few film theories and she got hooked but I know that a few theories on all channels isn’t appropriate for her age so I do control which videos she watches but we do both enjoy it. So some things are all age appropriate and some aren’t. I see nothing wrong with that.

And people have to remember, even when there are kids watching, they're watching because they're genuinely interested in the content. It's a group of young people who enjoy theorizing, using their brains, and coming up with answers to mysteries as much as anyone else. I wouldn't say that's a bad thing. If anything, I'd say that's amazing. It's helping people realize that using their minds is really fun.

2 sides to every coin. Hello, I am watching both his videos and the haters videos. I have come to the following conclusion: He makes videos based on what his fanbase asks him for. That just so happens to be whatever is popular at that moment. FNAF was popular and people asked for it, so he did it. If you're going to hate anyone for covering FNAF, hate his fans. Not that easy now, eh? HOWEVER, he is really defensive, and coming across as defensive can give people the idea that you have something to hide. And once that seed is planted, people will start to look for any evidence where none exists to nurture that seed of hatred. In conclusion: He's just a guy who makes stuff his fans want to see. If 60% want more FNAF and 40% want something else, He's gonna go with the 60% first. At the end of the day, its a bussiness too, and he's got employees to feed.

The difference is that the FNAF videos where consistently uploaded, every second GT episode was about FNAF where as the Pokemon and Mario videos were spread out over many months, many years even. My thing with all this is why do people bother complaining about their content. If you don't like it...just don't watch it. No, he's not exempt from criticism...but making a whole video just to critizise someone is kind of pathetic. I personally enjoy their content, and I understand if people don't...but frick. Is pretty pathetic. Gonna be honest, I have watched the channel before when I was younger. I watched this channel loosely since I was about 15. Key word on loosely though. It was only since I was a senior in high school that I started binge-watching and most of the theorist videos have fascinated me regardless of the subject, albeit I have been akin to watching the FNAF videos but mainly because of the immense detail in the videos. Regardless, I am nineteen, as of 2020, turning twenty soon and I will say that these videos really caught my attention after I started to learn the material and understood. So, when I was like 8, I was on my dad’s I pad or something and I saw the vid for Rosalina Unmasked. And so I watched it, and fell in love with the channel. Exclusively watching the Super Mario theories. With watching these I have learned a handful of psychology and science facts that I wouldn’t need until middle school. I’m in my mid teens now and I’m obsessed with the FNAF theories. Overall, everyone at game theory works so hard in every video, and you guys really do deserve your fame.

Actually, not sure if this accurate in different countries, most of the fnaf demographic here are 20-25 year olds. It is absolutely frustrating with this situation. People get mad when Matpat doesn't respond to criticism and say he simply can't take criticism Then he responds to the criticism and PROVIDES REASONS COUNTERING THEIR VIEWPOINT and they just ignore the part where he reasonably answers with logic and still says he is unable to take criticism. People are just too unreasonable and they are unable to open their minds to other opinions.
