Seneir Bello - but the REASON the sexy concept was so popular during that time was because more groups were starting to do it, GsD didn't invent the sexy concept nor had they been doing it since debut, but they along with many ggs (After School & Sistar included) popularised it.

Seneir Bello what you said still doesn’t change the fact that girls day is still one of those groups that rocked the sexy concept they might have switched to sexy because it was trendy but that still doesn’t change the fact that they’re one of the girl groups that rocked the sexy concept so them switching from cute to sexy doesn’t change the fact that they’re still one of the “pioneers” of the sexy concept Idk why you think switching concepts makes a group any less ironic than a group that’s been doing it since debut clown behavior 🤡

I hope 2pm is still going on strong bc on the JYP website they still there. TVXQ split bc three of the members felt they were “slaves” to the company and just to much in their schedules. Later on leaving SM I guess they were banned from Korean media making their own group JYJ in Japan but also somewhat in Korea. I don’t know it’s a whole mess, they may be inactive (JYJ) but I heard they are like super rich then the TVXQ members who r still in the company.

As a fellow daisy/diamond (international gsd fans) I'm very thankful for this video. It's very informative for those who don't know what actually happen and just spread around rumors about the disbandment. 6 years ago during GsD's 3 years anniversary, Minah shared that we'll always be together "for 3, 30 and 300 more years" to which Hyeri replied "by the time you'll be dead". Recently Yura also explained that they want girls day to be like Shinhwa, not disband and always be there for the fans. And Sojin is constantly reply to comments on her Ig about "girls day being together forever" In any form I don't believe that girls day would just disappear so easily, they are very popular in Korea and media faces, they are ambassadors of their home towns/different organizations, even were ambassadors of the Olympic games and under different brands and contracts, now its their time to focus a little on themselves and the solo path but they always stay as a family, they teens grew up together and it's very easy to actually see what kpop groups play "omg were so close friends, almost family" scenes. And girls day ain't it. They always remember about their fans and about the group and I'm sure soon somehow they will get together again and surprise us more with a new comeback. Thank you again for a great video

Thank you for making this video! My story is that I was walking in the TV section of a store and they were showing a 기대해 performance video for 3d tv, I was like "wow! who are they?" since I didn't know anything about kpop I searched for days until I searched "kpop suspender dance" and found out who they are. They are my first and all time favorite kpop group! Right now I am having kind of a hard time getting news from them. Hopefully they would have a comeback again soon.

In the intro, when you mentioned something about criticisms of their looks, i was about ready to fight, before I realized you were talking about criticism that some of their concepts were too sexy for Korean standards. I think of Girls Day as one of the most beautiful groups, with no visual lacking (particularly in their final form as 4 members.) Any one of those 4 girls could have been the visual center of a group.

all the song of Girl's day is catchy 🖒🖒 The old Kpop song are so good, I used to listen and love alot of gen 1 and gen 2 of Kpop like Big bang, infinite, B1A4, 2ne2, Girl's day, Snsd, 4minute, Tara, miss A,....but gen 3 except BlackPink, ikon, winner and BTS I don't know who is who 😬

Darling is such an underrated Summer Bop. I appreciate Girl's Day and their music so much. They are great at so many things. Singing, Dancing, Acting, Variety etc. Such a great group.

I've been a long time dai5y and I always see my girls on Instagram and Hyeri on Amazing Saturday I love how they're happy and healthy and doing what they want. They all deserve the success and the break they're on now. They should enjoy life after all the hardships they went through. 2013-2015 they were HUGE in Korea, and everyone still knows them now in South Korea.

Never trust a K-pop fan who doesn't know "Something". Lol. True to what Minah said, Girl's Day is a chameleon. They showed how well they pull off each concept.

I remember when Twinkle Twinkle came out. I was just 10 years old, had never listened to kpop before, but my older sister had a boyfriend who did, so he showed her some stuff, then she found some more cute stuff for herself, and she showed me Twinkle Twinkle. I remember learning the dance in full and having it on my mp3 player I got during Christmas. The nostalgia that song holds is insane for me I didn't know Twinkle Twinkle and Something were by the same group until I rediscovered them at 18 years old, and it was nice to see their newer songs (although not new) were fitting for me at my age when I found them again. Even if I didn't follow them actively, it was nice to see how their career followed my age through the years

glad to see this on my recommendation. lol. i do miss them as a group. i think if their agency have that willingness to pour more effort on delivering comebacks and focus on their music stuff, things might have been different. but they got so popular individually, they had more shows, dramas and cf. i think the agency investing on those opportunities were good financial decisions since dreamt is just a small company. but whatever happened, i thoroughly enjoyed those days they're still promoting as a group. i miss the fandom too. we're small but we're good on finding updates :D
