for those kpop fans who haven't noticed - girl groups will usually debut with a "cute" concept - cuz those are the most successful groups - - if they don't catch on - they'll try something else - usually "sexy" - so that's a sign of a group that's failing and hoping to turn things around - (there's an exception in Dreamcatcher which went "surreal" instead) i enjoy the chorus to the song "Hello Venus" - (the narrator's claim that Lime descended 3 octaves is a huge exaggeration) - and i got used to the usual musical arrangement of "Wiggle Wiggle" - which i now consider as the equal of "Hello Venus" i didn't enjoy the song "What Are You Doing Today?" - but i thought the music video was one of the cleverest and most visually pleasing that i've seen i liked YooAra's cuteness and pretty singing voice (but not her hairstyle) - today she occasionally posts to Instagram - but there's no indication of what she's doing - - as for Nara - i never expected hr to be such a potent screen presence - which will more than make up for her still evolving acting skills

I loveeeed hellovenus, i got into them during the “would you stay for tea” era (which should’ve BLEW UP) and saw their discography and was hooked and then when they came back with sticky sticky I was like HUH what a switchup but I loveddd it , I was supporting them til their disbandment. They honestly had so much potential and deserved better. (I’m ill ALBUM should’ve blew up too imo) they needed better promotion and strategic scheduling by the company cause the girls always served and they all stand out individually. “Wiggle Wiggle” was their peak and their label should’ve played on that and given them more exposure and even a comeback with a similar vibe during that same year (BUT THEY DIDNT..) Edit: We need one of Dal Shabet and maybe After School! Loved this

Thanks for tuning and the feedback! I was conflicted about this as well as far as the WYSFT era. I think that concept definitely fit them very well and probably would’ve gained them more popularity if they’d stay that way longer like you said. I was concerned that the drastic change from gentle to promiscuous concepts made the public kind of back off from Hello Venus. Either way I love all their colors and felt they could literally pull off any genre of music when given the space and opportunity.

Hello Venus was formed under a joint venture between the companies Pledis and Fantagio - when they ended their joint venture (I don't know why) - the Pledis members YooAra and YeongJoo had to leave - while the Fantagio members continued with 2 new girls

They changed to sexy concept lately and they cannot have comeback in less competition season so they finally disbanded. They should join the IOI to make them more famous but Fantigo choose to pick trainee to join IOI.

Bravesound is like... McDonalds.. at first impression its SO GOOD! but after a few weeks you realize you're gaining weight and your skin is horrible and you feel like dying every single day cause you've gone into extreme depression from the amount of sodium, sugar, gluten and chemicals added to it to enhance the taste artificially. then you're SO DESENSITIZED that you can't taste it anymore.. and you go back on a healthy diet to fix all your horrible mistakes you've made in the past SINCE discovering McDonalds. AND FINALLY when your body is back to its natural state.. you can't STAND McDonalds anymore.. and your body is craving healthy food like actual meat and vegetables. but by that time the market is closed and you're stuck with only McDonalds everywhere.. so you do the only thing left to do.. you move away to a city that has healthy food. thats what happened with Hellovenus and that is what happened with every single Kpop group that had its own GENTLE AND DELICATE SOUND SIGNATURE and when the greedy CEOs noticed that no one was buying healthy food they turned their restaurant to another McDonalds place and ruined their name forever its even happening now to LOVELYZ, OMG, NATURE, ELRIS, WJSN, APINK, fromis_9 and many many MANY more groups CEOs get too greedy and sacrifice their groups delicate and gentle signature sound for a QUICK BUCK RIGHT NOW not even thinking or let alone caring about the fact that after they turn into yet another McDonalds.. there will be nothing unique about them anymore.. and there would be no reason for ANYONE to be a loyal customer cause once an individual McDonalds joint closes down.. people can just go to another one that is still open.. THATS MY BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH KPOP! AND IT FEELS LIKE NO ONE ELSE CARES ABOUT THIS EXCEPT ME! F!

You really don't know much about music do you? Lime does not, nor can she sing over 3 octaves. You don't know the difference between a step (tone) and an octave (8 steps/tone). Nevertheless her vocals are just fine. Truth: Yooara and Yoonjo returned to Pledis because they were not down with the new sexy planned direction the group was asked to make. Good for them. You seem to like only the slutty stuff. Sticky sticky, wiggle wiggle I'm I'll (sick). The sexy concept was short lived for many girl groups. Amen Wiggle wiggle was the better song of the three. Thank God for the death of that sexy spree. The girls returned to making more mature (Glow) but still aeygo type image and sound (Paradise) after that. 5 years in now Mysterious was their best song since Walk me home/ Would you stay for tea mixing jazz and pop in the same way Walk me home mixed classical (Pachelbel's Canon) and pop. 2 years later however as the standard 7 year contact came in the band came to an end. Pretty standard stuff. New younger groups and a sound was already beginning to dominate kopo. The cycle continues. Miss this band though and their iconic 2nd Gen sound.
