Jay is a generous caring person.. None of us are perfect but if by chance we are able to put smiles on people's faces then he has achieved greatness. Thank you 😊

People are so nasty with your comments, I realize watching the show he wasn’t the one doing the work but every show needs a host and he has a very strong personality and fits the bill.

Very sad that Jay Blades had become a celeb for just fronting Repair Shop and not even getting his hands dirty, and the real talent is from the people around him that do the repairing and they are nobodies and probably earn a pittance compared to the main man.
@IrishSchaller3 ай бұрын
Do you think that about all presenters then? Clair Balding is not an athlete but comments on sports, Fiona Bruce knows little about antiques but fronts ARS. Nigel Havers dito with The Bidding Room.

You say he has opened up about his traumatic past (who hasn’t). Almost every human has struggled. But he was able to share his terrible past in a top selling book. This is misery on misery. But thank goodness the bbc has a powerful diversity program. So we can all share in his struggle.

JB was described as a furniture restorer. His idea of restoration was to paint one leg of a chair blue, while having the rest of the chair painted red. I think his skill level was pretty low, so he did well to last as long as he did. Puts me in mind of Mike Brewer of the Wheeler Dealer program. Not really talented, slightly dodgy character …… I think he should take the money he has made and go back to painting odd chair legs.
@dennisfleming581121 күн бұрын
I think his best example of work was when he turned a door into a table by adding 4 legs. I bet it still has not sold.

None of us are perfect and our lives and relationships throw up conundrums which baffle psychologists, if they cannot understand how a person’s head works, what chance has the individual. Some things we understand and deal with, most other things it’s trial and error, mostly error. You cannot pretend to be Mr or Mrs Nicey all the time, you are who you are and will lapse into your true self, if you are trying to be Mr/Mrs Nicey. Circumstances dictate situations, it’s finding the balances for the many different situations. Good luck in trying to be that special person, they ain’t that many out there, whether male or female.
