They should have covered it from the historical importance of it, however to be honest New Zealand as a separate entity had pretty much nothing to do with D-Day.......certainly some kiwi's were involved but mainly as personal in the RAF and Royal Navy....my grandfather was an RAF bomb aimer from '43 till the end of the war in europe....to my understanding no NZ land units took part in D-Day as the New Zealand division was engaged in Italy at the time
