In the late 90’s to early 2000s, Arista records was acquiring new talent. The R&B/Neo soul lane was becoming increasingly popular so the label decided to add a duo called Koffee Brown to their roster.

I find it amazingly weird that Fonz can be caught up in a gay scandal and let go by Arista records, when the head of Arista records is openly gay now and was so back then.

there were rumors of them not getting along even before the album came out which is probably another reason for the relationship rumor. and this is my first time hearing the fonz rumor. not sure how true it is. he has kids but that doesn't always make a difference. they made a classic album in my opinion and considering them being a new r&b act at the time the album sold pretty good off the 2 singles that were release. Arista could have officially had it certified Gold if they wanted to.
