Okay, so first of all, it's pronounced "GO-BEL." Secondly, it was Stephen Housden who was the last man standing with the band name, trademark etc etc., NOT Wayne Nelson, who took over as the sole lead singer of the band, but Housden IS THE SOLE OWNER of the band. In 2006, Housden stepped-back from the stage to concentrate on managing the band, while replacing himself on lead guitar and vocals with an American, thereby making LRB an all-American band. Stephen Housden still owns the band and has vowed to never let Glenn Shorrock, Graeham Goble (again, it's "GO-BEL") and Beeb Birtles take it back. In all fairness the other band members were stupid to leave and sell their share in the band, especially Goble, whom, by his own admission, took more care of the business side of things than the other members. Anyways, that's that. I don't know if you're a real person or an AI bot, BUT you need to do more research if you are the former.

@@pattomuso There's literally no original members, so no matter what kind of spin you put on it, it is still a cover band. As good as John Farnham is (brilliant in fact) I don't think Australia was too impressed with him joining LRB....Shorrock's vocal's suited LRB perfectly, Farnham's did not. I don't think Australia 'perked up it's ears' at all. Also, I take task with you saying Farnham's solo album 'Whispering Jack' album met with 'moderate success' in Australia....it is still the largest selling Australian album in Australia. Hardly 'moderate' success! BTW, Gobble as you pronounce him is Goble....as in Go-ble, Shore-rock as you pronounce him is Shorrock....as in Shock Rock without the 'ck' in the middle. The first part of the word 'Diamantina' is pronounced like the start of the word Diamond! Always funny to hear Americans butcher name pronunciations. Seriously, what is wrong with them?
