Till this day I still don’t understand how Mani won season 2. He was always #3-5 on the hit list and forgot his rap’s multiple times. Ji (Prince of New York) or lil key most definitely should’ve won

I re-watched the season and felt like JD was very biased toward Mani. Also, I feel like JD felt that Mani fit in with So So Def more than anyone else

I just watched this season and I definitely didn't see Mani getting it. I for sure thought it was Lil Key. The entire focus group seemed for not bc he sure didn't listen to their feedback

I was pulling for JI that season and was befuddled when Mani won. But I like him as a person and love his relationship with his mom. She's a great mother.♥️

I think nobody expected mani to win because he got the less screen time and a lot of things were edited. The only screen time he was literally the first episode and later episodes like the finale. A lot of people that they met like Mariah Carey actually liked him. So I believe they must’ve shortened some clips of mani because everyone was rooting for lil key or JI

Mani won cause he fit the image of SoSo Def better than the rest. He had the image to be more marketable! But he did horrible on the show! How did he win the show when he never made #1 on the hit list & was the least improved.

I definitely wanted Mani to win. I didn't think he would. Thought Lil key would win. However rewatching it as an adult Lil Key was messing up as much as Mani. J.I. was doing well on challenges but I could understand how he didn't have the whole package of rap at that time. Mani deserved it. And I'm glad JD saw it. Just wish it would have resulted in a nationally known career.

My opinion 1. Latto (least favorite season, but latto was the best) 2. Lil Key or Mani (Jayla needed hella improvement, JI was too stubborn, Nia Kay and her dad was mean, Mani was mediocre to what we saw on screen) 3. Deetranada ( I like Nova but he was too cocky for me, talky is a non factor, flaujae and street bud were decent they just needed more time for development and growth and my favorite season ❤️) 4. Street Bud or Rapunzel (Lil bri was also okay but she started giving up, Jordan was mediocre, ricci bitti….. Raounzel and Street Bud were my favorite) 5. ❓❓❓idk it was too much going on in season 5

Sire or tyler Over all, i think JD still should’ve picked lil key for season 2, sire for season 5. Idc how good Tyler did. Sawyer needed it way more than Tyler. I get that Sire has a lot of antics, but he knows how to win the people better than anybody. And people would definitely buy his music and pay to come to see him perform. I think JD is missing out on a lot of money because he didn’t pick Sire

@@BigBadVisuals For season 2 kinda disappointed me because fr I thought lil key had it he’s been bringing out aggressive energy during all his raps, and that one rap battle he did including his final performance I also kinda felt bad for J.I (prince) because he’s the goat at battle rapping for sure which everybody else said, which I agree on Mani randomly won the competition performance when he didn’t get a single first place on the hit list on the show
