Obviously I was dissapointed we didnt see arbiters and chiefs reunion in game, but when I listened to the audio books that first hour put such a big nerdy smile on my face. I just imagined them both to be talking about the close calls and crazy firefights they were in both against each other and on the same side.. But I took their goodbye as a "see you soon" type of thing. Hopefully 343 understand that we all want the dynamic duo back just one last epic time!

Master Chef You fail to understand that in bungie's most recent representasion of elites aka reach they were shown as incredibly tall, and in terms of 343, "being right" even if it were based off of halo 3 sized elites, those elites were the size of SPARTAN 2s not spartan 4s, locke shouldn't be aligned with any elites, but looking up to them. Going back to Reach, the elites seen in reach were the representitives of the classic artstyle's elites not halo 3s, you simply use halo 3s becuase they are the most seen.

Darn it I hate to be that guy but it sounds like this first portion of the book should have been in game content. Spoilers: Especially that part where chief and arby are talking. Couldn't we have gotten this as campaign dlc or something? It would have been even more epic as a game to finish off Halo 5 with arbiters goodbye to chief instead of halseys lousy line. I know this is probably easier said than done but it still pisses me off. Great video as always Xperia. Sorry for the outburst.

0:58: I strongly believe the reunion wasn't in the game, because they left it for the sequel. The actual cliffhanger is wanting to see chief and arbiter back together. Naturally Halo 5 flopped, so they had to scrap the sequel and come up with a completely different story line.

To this day I’m still pissed as hell that the Arbiter’s subspecies was changed. 343 came up with an explanation that the reason why the elites look different in 4 and 5 is because they’re a part of a separate subspecies but then we see that the Arbiter looks different so that doesn’t make any sense.

It may be a Slipspace flake, mentioned in the Greg Bear books (and in Halo Fractures) Seems to warp slipspace, and even time to a degree, to aid long distance journeys. Seems unusually powerful even for that - perhaps and ancient Precursor artefact?
