storys in the dark lore wise Reach was chosen in 2053 to be terraformed back to its prewar state so it could be used and made habitable again which it was by 2589 completely habitable. Not all of Reach was glassed during the war so some installations both military and forerunner are still there and even some actual survivors of the glassing stayed on Reach in unglassed areas of the planet the whole time and never left.

Yes I know, but it is likely (since Halo 5 was three years ago and Halo Wars 2 was one year ago that Halo Infinite will most like come out by 2019 unless there is a major problem that causes mass delay. Also most teaser trailers often have the game or movie come 4-18 months after it.

Halo has and will always be great. Even if Halo 5 wasn't as great as the rest, it's still a solid game in it's own right, and doesn't take away from the rest. The same can't be said for other franchises sequels , like Metal Gear and Silent Hill.

This is a great video and is interesting on what is going on. Some ideas I have; I think there is a very funny irony in the Grunts become advance, gameplay wise, Just imagen fighting an op grunt mini boss. Also It would be cool gameplay wise if it was linear semi-open world like ODST having open and explorable spaces but a still linear storyline.

I have to share my pov. Cortana seems to be a piece of Cortana (1 of several) that survived within the forerunner data stream and took up the mantel because that piece of Cortana felt to be the entity for the job. It seems that several other pieces of Cortana may have survived the same way and we are about to find another one. As Cortana said at the end of halo 4 "Most of me is down there."

@@georgeforeman8040 it is a reboot of sorts. We are starting like Halo CE did when were put in the middle of a war we knew nothing about. Only difference is we know a little about this war and how it started but not what has been happening the past year in game. It will be a sequel to halo 5 but there will be much more going on besides just cortana. Basically humanity has been crippled and needs to find a way to resist cortana but has the banished and maybe even the flood to deal with (again). Hopefully the story doesn't become too congested but all in all in think the story will be kinda interesting moving forward. I do hope the Spirit of Fire gets some love in the main halo game story line.

I do wish they just stuck to the story and finished it but personally I wont be too upset with making some changes. Everything as is so far points to a decent game but we honestly won't really know until the game comes out. We as players can't say much until then, we can complain but until we see and play it our criticism won't matter too much. I think I know what Halsey's interrogation from Halo 4 is now. If that's not the case, then it is one of the parts in the game that foreshadowed Halo 5. She mentioned that Spartans are the next step to human evolution, Cortana in Halo 5 also talked about this before imprisoning Blue Team in a Cryptum. Her symbol in Halo 5 is originally found in Halo 4 in the Cartographer room in the mission Requiem. That glyph you find i Halo 4 speaks of the Mantle of Responsibility which is what the Diadact also speaks of as well.

As you said for Master Chief and the crew of the Infinity. It would be cool if the connect to Halo 4 and Spartan Ops by having the missing half of the key thing that Dr. Halsey received from the Librarian be on Zeta Halo and maybe could be used to override the Guardians but near the end the flood and 343 Guilty Spark arrive having a massive 3 way battle going on as now Chief has to face two near unstoppable foes. Also it would be cool if there was a mission to find and rescue Dr. Anders and missions with side characters such as joining Buck and his old ODST crew to have more and better character development and some characters (such as Locke and Palmer to appease the fandom) dying in semi-heroic deaths to increase intensity and express how dire the situation really is. Plus over all having the campaign be the longest of any Halo game being I think being between 12-36 hours long.

What would be wild is some kind of time lapse, if they can do the programming right for the game, where your choices will have different outcomes. Basically she has to be stopped from the past. 2nd idea is connecting with the Librarian and some storyline from there. Really, the final story can have multiple closures. Imagine doom guy in halo Imagine There’s a seen where chiefs fighting covenant forces then suddenly doom guy just bursts through a wall shot gunning an elite in the face and breaking a few grunts necks he then looks at chief confused thinking he isn’t a demon then a grunt walks around a corner behind chief then screams its the demon then gets shot gunned in the face not sure what would happen next

Well doom guy can live for millions of years and who said the demons from hell only invaded mars earth and phobius plus the demons want power so you know (halo ring) could be a target to the demons
