Perhaps if the final confrontation didn't depict certain characters as cold, selfish, calculating people, the twist would have been easier to swallow. But I agree about Noomi Rapace's acting. I has become my favorite Netflix movie of all time, and definitely within my top 3 movies of all time, and I watch A LOT of movie. This is the best scifi dystopoan movie I've ever watched. I don't know how I lived so long without knowing this movie existed until today. This movie is a must watch. Just the fact that 7 identical sisters are living as a single individual with a single identity should make the viewers wanna watch it.
@yosefmacgruber192010 ай бұрын
Well I loved that the world population had ballooned to a staggering 21 billion people, and wouldn't it be cool if the mad-scientists monkeying around with GMO resulted in multiple births? But rather than cruel population control efforts, couldn't they admit to the need of human populations to grow, and simply accept a human-denser world that would benefit the individual human rights and also benefit the populous many? That part about only 30 years left before the planet dies, made no sense at all. Are we just to assume a Malthusian gloom-and-doom? Are the mad-scientists still so worthless that they can't seem to solve any problems, in some perhaps-unlikely dystopian future? Or is it the corrupt politicians still ruining everything? That the world population has become so huge, kind of perhaps suggests that as today, there are many people who still for very understandable and valid reasons, do not use birth control. Glad to see that somebody cares that all 7 sisters should live. Another dystopian "overpopulation" movie worth watching, is "The Last Child (1971)", although the only "overpopulation" that I could find in that movie, was a sign in a public restroom that said to "Hurry up, people are waiting", yet I saw no queue at all waiting to get into the restroom. So then, overpopulation is imaginary, something that only the corrupt so-called leaders buy into? Plot spoiler alert, her child had died and she ends up having another, in the end escapes into Canada where the 1-child limit tyranny does not apply. It has been years since I watched it, the full movie, on YT.

They are Genetic anomalies from the effects of your engineered food. So when they scan the girls, it'll not keep coming up as the same person. The DNA scan would expose the 7 girl system they have going on. Easily spotted first proof. 1 of the girls is smarter than the others, and she also requires prescription glasses.. and the other do not. Movies and Tv shows nowadays are fucking GARBAGE.

Honestly, great movie! I think more people should be talking about it, even if it's 6 years old.

if noomie rapace realy played those 7 seven sisters, props to the make-up artists and the camera work, and the director, and the crew who edited this movie, it must have been a hell of a job to pull this off
