@@Bibibosh I don't know about the other guy, but I usually add videos to my watch later when I have time to browse videos but not watch them. Sometimes, when I get bored, I'll just let that playlist play on for hours, catching up on content!

I'm glad you are starting 2025 in a good place. My 2024 was busy, but not in a good way. I had 4-5 falls (one of which ended in a hospital stay in May). I had an extended bout of dizziness, which seems to have been one of my meds was lowering my blood pressure too much. November started with a 2nd hospital visit, followed by a couple of weeks at a rehabilitation facility, trying to get my strength up. Then December brought my 3rd hospital stay...for a completely separate issue. Ironically, leaving the hospital feeling substantially better. That was the 2nd time I had a year with 3 hospital visits, which was in 2012. I'm glad you were able to have some fun away from KZbin. I would love to go anywhere, but while I'm getting used to standing again (just a few minutes at a time right now), sitting upright for more than an hour make my back pain flare up. I like your unscripted content along with your scripted content. I don't mind when people ramble (or in your case...waffle). Sometimes you can be more honest that way. I wish you all the best in 2025, and keep us Americans in your prayers as we enter a very volatile time, namely a 2nd round of our country being led by the orange idiot. Just like in 2020, I'm not in a financial position to flee the country, but I am doing better than I was then.

@highpath4776 it was determined to be due to some medicibe I was taking. I had one to lower my blood pressure, then was given one to raise it. They ended up taking me off the one to lower my blood pressure. It has been much better since.

Many channels I watch do shorts only as excerpts to longer vids. I have found my way to channels via seeing a short and liking it, then going to the longer vids. Re: compilations - yes, compiling related vids into one longer video would be potentially useful for those of us who like to listen to them in the car or whatnot :)

I had a similar experience this year. Spring and summer were pretty good views and growth-wise, then at the end of summer it just bottomed out. I’ve been in an algorithm famine ever since. Love your channel and hope you can continue, but yeah, it’s rough out here.

I do like your short videos, but if you want to try longer ones, I’d recommend doing hour long ones. Something I’ve found myself doing is passively *listening* to videos while I cook dinner (thanks, Adam Ragusea). Always just the commentary style videos similar to yours, where I don’t actually have to look up and watch. I always preferred to listen to videos related to food, but I’ve found it hard to find hour long videos about food these days, so I’ve resorted to finding other topics. So I’d be totally down for listening to a language related hour-long video. It usually takes about an hour to make dinner.

I remember you put out some gender related videos I had less than no interest in even clicking on, but other than that i watched fairly regularly. Been subscribed for awhile now, and I like most of the stuff you put out. Again, anything DEI or ‘woke’ will never get a click from me, but otherwise it’s pretty interesting stuff!
