What a legend. Wasn't born until 1987 so I didn't get to enjoy this when it came out, but I've loved her everyday of my life. My grandparents used to listen to all the classics on our vacations from Texas to Las Vegas, Nevada and Hemet, California. Theyve had a special place in my heart ever since. Anytime I feel down, I put on the oldies and instantly feel better and nostalgic for a time I never even experienced.

She was one of the great pop voices of the twentieth century, even though her career only lasted 8 years. She's a music Icon and her recordings are still being played over 50 years after her death. She left an indelible legacy. May she be at peace.

It may sound morbid, but in 2016, I stopped by Pasty's grave in Winchester, Va. and sang, "I Fall to Pieces" to her. She was bigger than life to me. Left a quarter on her grave. From there , I went to Nashville and visited the graves of George Jones, Eddie Arnold, Tammy Wynett, Marty Robbins, Porter Wagoner, and Owen Bradley. Anyone who knows the golden age of country music, will know how important these people are. I don't think they'd like what their music morphed into.

I watched the movies about her Patsy & Loretta and Sweet Dreams which I loved both movies but enjoyed Sweet Dreams even more and it gave u a better look into her life.. I thought the movie was so good and I just kept laugh on some parts and other parts were ofc sad. Her voice is so beautiful and she was beautiful. I have been listening to her music non-stop l. Now I actually enjoy her even more than the other country singers I've been listening to. I've always been a fan of GREAT music. It's so sad she passed so young and had two near death experiences. Great bio video of Ms. Cline. One correction if I may: the name is HAWKshaw Hawkins, not Hacksaw Hawkins. I think Cowboy Copas' biggest hit would probably have been 'Filipino Baby' and Hawkins' would probably have been 'Goin' Back to Alabam'. The latter was known for the unforgettable guitar riff, which Hawkins himself played. I was only 10 when the news about the plane crash that killed all three great artist came over the radio. So well loved and popular was Cline, that all the talk among the adults was "Patsy Cline was killed," with seldom a mention of the other two artists. Her death, and at the prime of her life and career, was so devastating to country and pop fans alike. Kudos to her husband, Charlie Dick (who only recently passed), for keeping her body of work "out there" and her memory alive. RIP to both.

I enjoy anything Patsy related... but there are many discrepancies in this. For example, she was 30 when she perished in the plane crash, not 29. Also, the listening party for her final session occurred on February 7, 1963 - not 1962 as you stated. Additionally, "I'll Sail My Ship Alone" was the final song she ever recorded and was not her final "single" (Her final single released during her lifetime was "Leavin' On Your Mind" b/w "Tra Le La Le La Triangle") Finally, Hacksaw is pronounced Hawkshaw. Despite these and other errors, thanks for the effort and highlighting Patsy's life in your videos.

5:18 "Patsy Cline was only 29 years old". Really? 1932-1963 is closer to 31 in my book. A little more than 30...

Yvon Couture - She was actually 30 when she died. She would’ve turned 31 later in 1963 if she’d lived.

I remember that my Mom cried when she learned Patsy had died. Our house was often full of Patsy's songs and those of other women singing similar music and blues. I have inherited my Mom's love for it.

I knew she dies tragically, but I did not know she was so young. It is mystical, bordering on eerie, how some people are given an opportunity to prepare for death. I was very young when she died, but I remember her well. R. I. P., Patsy.
