The whole game is just a pokemon themed gambling simulator… the only thing breathing life into the game for me is PvP which is a horrible realization when you consider how absolutely bs the battle league is. Between algorithm, cheating/exploiting, lag, bugs, etc. plus there’s literally no maintenance and upkeep on it. So for that to be my personal main focal point and that focal point being SHIT, I’m on a slippery slope with this game.

Yep I dabble, and the only mythical I have was the giveaway quest one, and that's it. I am nowhere close to a collection to take on elite raids, or the rocket bosses, so I don't care about the game much, just play now and then for a bit. In fact I'm finding that with my health and situation, Jurassic World live is more friendly for people who can't get out daily and can be played fairly well from home, and they GIVE you dinos that are in the mythic teir.

Thanks for the video Poke 🎉 I think with all of the money Niantic makes, they need to fix the game. People talk about constructive criticism but I remember how many screw ups Niantic have made despite people paying for stuff. When I started playing in 2016, I remember it used to be great and evolving. We even used to get a legendary for our 7 day research box. Now they just release stuff without correcting other issues like GBL. I said it before and I'll say it again, Niantic are just a data collecting cash cow. Big tech all over who don't give a f about their player base 👹🤡 It's no wonder so many players have turned to spoofing.

This was a really good point. And I’ve always say this will always continue simply because the “lovely community” is so selfish with each other. You have some ppl that will die on their Niantic loving hill that think That company can do no wrong, then the trolls that just spam endlessly and make it seem like that’s the voice of everyone and lastly have ppl that have some of the bigger issues in this game. So I watched a video by another content creator that warned about the remote raid nerf before it came out. One video by one creator. Whenever I warned people and tried to organize some in person raids, the internet blew up and yelled about how "they can't tell me how to play". Had Niantic actually put something out, let us know that we have like 3 months to substantially increase the in person raids or there will be a remote raid nerf, then maybe we could have seen some change and gotten ahead of it to where they didn't feel the need to nerf anything. Sadly Niantic can't even communicate when they aren't happy about something to give us a chance to do something about it.

I don't even try with GBL anymore. i'm ussually close to ace once i reach lvl 20. So i get ace, then TANK my points down to 1100. Win 5 in a row to 1500. Then tank again until i complete the 500 wins research. EZ stardust. EZ candy, EZ elite charged tm's. quick on time. and usually get 1 or 2 legendaries by the end aswell. grinding for a machu pikachu isn't worth the days of rageful grinds.

The number of raids, and especially the numbers of elite raids, has been nerfed down and as a result playing Pokemon Go is starting to require a car more and more. I live in a medium-sized city in Finland and there is plenty of Pokemon Gyms, but during the Reguaza event, I didn't see any elite raid in my Hometown unlike previous events. And I'm still very pissed-off about this because apparently I should have gone to a bigger neighboring city to get Reguaza. In the past, I have occasionally paid for event passes, but if the future of the game is that there are no more events in my hometown, then I won't pay for them either because it would be pointless then.

I don't think too many events are the problem. The problem with the events is that they're poorly executed or don't work as intended. A couple of players barely got a drillbur, combee, or trubbish during the sustainability event, and the Rediscovering Kanto event was 2 weeks of crap (oh boy, more Pidgeys!). The Kanto event offered nothing really new or unique tbh.

the only way to get companies to change their policies or behaviour toward their product is by voting with your wallets. the point made about the pokemon company behind these choices does make sense, if the facts would show this too. personally ive been playing a lot less main line pokemon since go came out so it is costing them money, so them trying to push you back to the mainline game by making the go game bad could be a strategy, could also blow up and have people drop the franchise entirely.

If it had been Mega Rayquaza raid day with 20 allowable remotes like with Kyogre and Groudon… I would have bought the ticket, done 25-30 remote raids, and raided for all three hours in person. Big money. Instead, I used 2 free passes, and got 2 more from my community ambassador’s check in code, So I spent zero dollars.

Niantic def scrwed up the rayquaza raids. I live by an important park to Niantic. I know this because it has one of the *four* seven elevens (in the whole of Mexico City) that are actually sponsored by Niantic. So there's a bunch of gyms, right? Well, there was 1, max 2 raids per every 2 to 3 hours. There were hoards of people but no raids around! I saw people leaving at 1:00 pm because the next raid wasn't until 3 pm. and it was just the one until 5 pm. Like seriously? Most gyms didn't even have raids. I bet people were ready to spend on passes and couldn't. On the other hand, saying there's no ads is bs. They're just really well built into the game, but sponsors are there. 7/11 is hitting jackpot huge here in Mexico, McD'S also involved. And there's regional sponsors all over. Always said it. Players are not the clients in pogo. They're the product.

Ak, I run a consistent team using Whichcash and skarm, mastering how to maneuver the counters it gives me (skarm,licki,anihlape,etc.) I switch my team to a lanturn lead then I see nothing but registeel, sandslash, and dragons :,). I genuinely think I’m going to quit soon

They technically do still have ads with all the sponsored pokestops /gyms and also you have the sponsored item balloons. They do not need to do all these paid tickets with all of the money they make from micro transactions and in person events. They could also run the game better they would make stupid money many whales have dropped off spending like myself. 100% free to play since the avatar changes.

The tickets are fine considering the ads were in the form of brand colabs and were and would be pretty uniteresting regardless. People need to understand the absurd lag that live service changes are known for, id be worried if nothing major post winters season. We need to judge after the tunning pass for the year. Pvp is finally changing so the money made from this is probably going to infrastructure at this point wouldn't be surprising. The elite raids are 90% of what i would like, having a few legendary spawns or extra special trades would be the only things I'd add to them. For most people i know this isn't an everyday game and that's what's special about this imo, everyone need to learn to take a rest for real.

I'm a week 1 2016 player. I really don't care if I spend money. I have friends that play Keno or peel offs at bars and spend $100 at a pop, and frirnds that laugh off losing $500 at a casino. So I don't really care about spending some money on Pokémon Go because hell, I am actually subsidizing f2p players by supporting the company/developers. I'm not into PVP much. I'm more of a collector. I get my joy from adding a shiny or hundo or another shundo. I loved remote raids, but I'm super picky since the nerf. What doesn't make sense is the price doubling, AND the limit on passes you can hold. If there's a decent box in the shop and I can get 3 remote passes for ~150 coins, why can't I buy more than one? I can only use 5 a day, but why can't I stack them when they are more affordable? If Niantic really wanted to make some more of my money, they would increase the number of remote passes we can hold.

I’m fine with it just hope it doesn’t get too much worse. I am fine with paying to an extent as I have a blast with this game. However I buy what has value to me. I buy a lot of remote passes and the 1 dollar researches for cd. I haven’t bought many of the 2 dollar ones for events. They don’t offer a lot. That’s good and bad because you don’t want them to offer too much that makes it pay to win or have fun. My worry is that they now seem scared to death of releasing new pokemon and will bore us to death with the same boring creatures.
