Sam Bradford had tons of potential when the Rams drafted him #1 overall. He even set NFL records with the Vikings. So...what happened to him?!

Football Theory I’m subscribed now. It looks like you’re working on a video so I won’t get on you for that since everyone else already is. But I will say youtube is a vast place and the more content you a get out the more likely you are to get those views and build that following. I think it would be best to stick with a single sport but really churning out high quality videos like this one and then doing another one and another one is really important and eventually you’ll be rewarded for it even if that takes awhile. Pay attention to what gets people excited and really dig into some niche areas like this video too. I’m ride or die if your future videos are in line with the quality of this one. (Also I’m not experienced in KZbin but I will give some constructive criticism based on what I know about the platform so don’t take any comments on your videos too personally, I expect great things!)

You get a sub for actually looking into Sam Bradford objectively and understanding how unlucky of a career he's had. He's always been my favorite QB ever since he came to my Eagles. What happened to the guy? His body broke down. He got broke too much with a terrible St Louis offensive line his first few years. But my goodness what talent. This guy could have been a first ballot hall of famer if he was healthy. That year at the Vikings he absolutely carved up every team he played. With the Eagles high-school offense, he carved up every team he played against. But his body let him down. Shame. But at least he made a lot of money. Good for Sam.

Awesome video man, you just eared yourself a subscriber. I totally agree, as a Rams fan, I loved Sam's time as a Ram. He turned us from a laughing stock to a competitive team and i believe they could've been a playoff team had he stayed healthy. It was sad to watch him get hurt and eventually us give up on him and I was happy to see him ball out with the Vikings. Again, wish they gave him more of a shot and at the of 33, I believe he could be a solid backup with a ton of experience and success in the league to his name. Would love to see him get another crack just to suit up.

Success in anything in life is surrounded by luck and preparation...Fact! Bradford is insanely intelligent of the game. Why is he not transitioning into a QB coach or OC? Maybe not his drive or passion? Maybe he needs time to lick his wounds. I don't blame him. He suffered injuries that kept him from greatness!! Much like Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway on Orlando Magic...Injuries kept him from greatness. Its true. Sam Bradford was my favorite QB in NFL and to know the chess pieces from the top CEO, to the bottom crew men, never provided a cushion for development, nor consistency. Simply look at the longevity and support the year 2000 Patriots provided for the last picked QB (199th overall), 6th round? But that's the way the cookie crumbles...

I'm an Oklahoma fan living in St. Louis. I had to watch the "football crowd" in town talk about how awful he was, so I found a video that showed every pass he threw for an entire season. If you factored in drops that hit receivers in the hands, tipped ball ints, and penalties that called back big gains, his performance was something like 73% completion rate, 31/5 TD/INTs, and 4200 yards. That's the quarterback they dropped due to injuries and horrible surrounding talent.

Bradford would probably have been a franchise QB in the 5-10 range for most nfl teams. Not only were his offensive coaches consistently terrible, but his teams were devoid of talent. An aging Steven Jackson was the only reliable weapon he had for the first half of his career. It wasn't David Carr bad, but the terrible OLines led to him being the most sacked QB multiple years, and the injuries piled up, and he never panned out. Had Bradford not torn his ACL again with the Vikings, I am convinced that team could have made a deep playoff run.

Not saying Sam would be #1 pick in retrospect, but he actually had an underrated career. He was solid to start his career on Rams (with Jeff Fisher) before getting hurt. @fredrosenblum
@fredrosenblum Жыл бұрын
Sam Bradford was surrounded with poor coaching and almost nothing at wide receiver and tight end in St. Louis. The talent and arm strength still showed. In Philadelphia, Bradford was surrounded with a poor offensive line and the Philadelphia Eagles lost pro bowl receivers Deshaun Jackson and Jeremy Macklin to other teams; those 2 receivers helped Nick Foles play exceptionally well. In Minnesota, the talent and coaching was there and Bradford took advantage of Stephan Diggs and Kyle Rudolph. Sam Bradford played well enough to take the Minnesota Vikings to the playoffs despite a poor offensive line, as Bradford threw 20 touchdowns and 5 interceptions with a passed rating of 99.5 for the Vikings in 2016. In games against the Detroit Lions and Washington Redskins, Blair Walsh's erratic place kicking cost the Vikings those games as he was missing extra points after Sam Bradford's touchdown passes and makeable field goals. They would have made the playoffs if Blair Walsh had made an extra point in the home game against the Detroit Lions; also the Minnesota Vikings ran the ball on 4th down instead of kicking an easy field goal; and Corderrell Patterson dropped an east touchdown pass in that game, which went into overtime before Mathew Stafford won that game in overtime. In the first game of the season in 2017, Sam Bradford had the best game of his career against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints, as he threw 3 touchdown passes and 0 interceptions in that game which the Vikings won. Then knee problems plagued him and he never played well again as he developed a degenerative knee. Sam Bradford was good enough to be a pro bowler and take a team to the playoffs

It wasn’t all his fault but still he just never was that guy he never had 30 or more touchdowns in a season. He was on some awful teams but so was people like Tony romo and Mathew Stanford but they were still able to put up numbers and atleast carry a less than average teamn

It's better he didn't, Keenum was simply much better, minus the Championship but it's not like Bradford would have gave the eagles a run for their money

Tavon was let down by coaches not knowing how to utilize him. They always had to have some gimmick, and never just let the man line up and play. Look at his 3 TD colts game. Let him line up and play, burned them for 3 TD's
