The Kiddie Bumper Cars were a fixture among children's rides in West Edmonton Mall. Later renamed to the "Space Bump" these rides were the very first bumper cars I ever rode, but sadly, they were removed by Jan of 2018.
Once removed, the area behind was briefly used as a sitting area when the Pokemon Go craze took off, and West Edmonton Mall embraced it! But, what happened since then? Let's find out together.

In my opinion, the Casino should not of been allowed to take space away from Galaxyland. All casino's do is take money from people and ruin lives. Galaxyland should of taken space from the Casino for more & better rides

The one Thing I Remember about the kids Bumper Cars the common thing a ride Attendant said when kids were Entering or Exiting was don't Run for Safety. They Could have been Replaced. I don't Know why they Removed them but nice if they Brought them back. You don't Have a old Clip of a Ride called the Parachute Ride that Frightened some that was there After Expansion? A family or kids one

I sure hope they are bringing back the kiddie bumper cars. My oldest son is 4, and if this summer would have gone differently we would have brought him to galaxyland for the first time. We've even avoided going near galaxyland when we go to the mall for early morning walks as we want to blow his mind one day. And i loved the bumper cars when i was his age..... i just want to see the joy in his face that i must have had.

Space Bump was the first ride I ever operated when I used to work at Galaxyland, so it definitely holds a very special place in my heart. Although, you grow sick of saying "turn your wheel all the way!" very, very fast.

I always love the little boost of adrenaline I get at the top of the Flying Galleon! I wasn't born early enough to experience the Perilous Pendulum but it may very well have been my favorite ride

In Ontario at a Place called Carp Outside Ottawa all the other bumper cars were moving but I Didn't realize at the time I had to put my foot on a Special Break as a kid. I don't remember doing kids bumper cars back in Edmonton. Does Anybody Remember a Spookey haunted Cavern in the kids play place in the past? I think I Remember one part were the Floor went Crooked.

Quick Question for you guys, since you seem to be the expert on WEM. Does anybody actually clean the Deep Sea Adventure Lagoon ? I was in the mall today and noticed some scuba divers collecting what looked like money around the Booster Juice / CinnZeo area .
